this is actually so nice to see, cuz im getting so tired of being a super aggressive sword dash player, sledge heavy, literally any medium that focuses on attacking and not defending, this is super epic.
Recently in World Tour I've been using my Firefighter build. Goo Gun, Flamethrower or Sledge, Pyro grenade, Pyro mine, Goo Grenade. It's completely uneffective against anyone with a brain, but damn is it fun to set a whole building alight
Almost don’t wanna comment about it because of how much success I’ve had and the fact I don’t think I’ve ever had it done to me, but using goo nades against a wall to completely cover myself and dematting the cash out down with me toward the end of a cash out is often a gaurenteed steal, especially against teams without a heavy or a demat. If they can’t break the ceiling and have to take the stairs to you then shoot the goo you will always get the steal
I'm trying to get the ghost charm so I play Light this moment. And right now I enjoy using: Cloaking Device, M11 or throwing knives, Gas grenade, smoke grenade and thermal vision. I'm normally heavy main but I really enjoy this loadout.
Love the smoke mentality, my mate and I can duo queue with it and we’re almost top 200, I learned to play in it and around it, it’s so good for steaks and generally keeping good cover, not everyone is built for it but it’s a great kit
I love this type of content and encouraging people to be more creative. Too many people d ride meta stuff it’s hard to respect players for creativity vs “skill”
I use Heavy with Lewis, Charge, RPG, c4 and antigravity cube and I found it really fun and useful when you defend the cashout. I think people haven't explore the destruction that the game offers. with that class i can make a different line of sights, move the cashout where i want, put c4 in cashout, lift people when they try to steal or push me. I've found that class really flexible, useful and the most important, fun class for heavy.
The goo gun is such a fun specialization. It gives heavy more agency in for mobility as well, but I do wish goo’s hitbox was a bit more precise. Something I’ve done that I’ve never seen someone else do is “castling” with goo where you make pillars with goo with small slits to shoot through in between them, but what happens is that the hitbox extends past the visual and you end up just shooting the goo most of the time.
Hint for lights: The m11 is not the only good gun right now and a lot of us aren't even thinking about the matter. The matter can two shot(plus melee) a medium and light last time I checked, and three shot a heavy. It's better than the double barrel, and its LOADS of fun. Many people are really bad at playing against us when we have the matter, too. LIGHTS MATTER

In season 1, I was using sniper, glitch, motion sensor and grenades on light with grapple but I am pissed at all the campers causing my baby to be nerfed and my motion sensor taken away. What am I trying to say! Give me my motion sensor back. Please.
AYO the cosmetic combo in the thumbnail is one i use! Noir cowboy hat, semi long hair and the metal mask with yellow eyes goes hard. Truly a man of culture.
On light I use the Matter with Grapple, Goo, Frag and Gateway. Very strong and very underrated, I’ve used it to get to Diamond , and Em 1. I keep LH1, glitch and stun in reserves just in case - but I love this loadout so much I got my matter to mastery level 6, and all of the gadgets I mentioned are mastery level 8.

I actually run that light loadout with throwing knives instead. Knives are a better fit because if your firing an actual gun the noise and muzzle flash can give opponents a target through smoke, but knives give them nothing to work with.
I always tell my buddy to drop cash we both play light and a lot of the time it makes it easier for us to both be slippery and annoying especially on sky cash outs

Appoh sorry if it's not the point of the video but I don't know if the hammer is good for ranked. Thanks to you I learned that the flamethrower is not that good and playing I also experienced first hand some of its limitations, especially with the model. Could you tell me if the hammer is generally good?
@@Alecapodics hammer is ok but its very niche and typically requires teammates to coordinate with you. Id say in general its not a pick that will get you too far
The reason why no one uses the last thing mentioned light&smoke cuz there is a ez work around to the whole build (explosions) cl40 alone disables this whole build
Not sure good gun is exactly underrated, personally I think its generally corrected rated. Its fun but not as consistently useful as charge or winch, especially with so many mediums running demat. The setup time is too long and the pay offs aren’t that consistent. Goo gun doesn’t stop charge anymore unlike winch.
I don't know if many people already know this strat but whenever I'm bored of sweating I whip out the cl 40 and gas mine combo (the projectiles from cl40 detonate mines on impact) its so fun and good that I almost consider it competitively viable. Epic strategy especially for heavy,I think I romember when the metta in season 2 revolved around anti gravity cube lol.

These aren't so unique as they are viable. For Heavy I'd say go for (Winch/Charge - Flamethrower - Proximity Sensor - Goo Grenade - Anti Gravity). Perfect Balance between aggression, manipulation, and information

I use smoke thermal vanish bomb with grapple. Gives you more movement.

For the light loadout swaping the gateway with the sonar granades can work well to help your team spot enemies in the smoke too
gateway is leagues better than sonar my dude

I have one with Turret-DualBlade-aps-zipline-jumppad intended to follow a Tank heavy but everytime I choose it, I queue up with 2 cloak snipers 💀
