Thank you Jeff! This is it! The BIG release I was waiting for Dragonbane. I won't lie... I'm also very excited to see what other publishers release in the future using the Dragonbane open license. Great video! Can't wait to see your upcoming review.
That is absolutely correct! Publishers don't like every page to be shown so I'll skip two or three, sometimes more - depending on the length of the book. I aim at getting a feel for the book not necessarily know each and everything about it for the first look. ~ Jeff
@@Thegaminggang .. I totally understand, they don't want you to give it all away. But doing a page through, is a great way of getting an idea about if, the rpg shown, is one that speaks to the individual. Love your reviews and your calm and funny demeanor 😊 Keep up the good work 👍
If we want to be pretty uncharitable and count the newly playable nightkin as reprints there are still only 12 old entries and 52 new ones. Now ofc that still pales in comparison to the 5e MM and it's like over 300 monsters or the PF2e one with it's over 400 but giving ever single entry a random encounter, a story seed for a whole adventure and nice big art is a nice trade for quantity i feel. There may be fewer monsters but i also have a way easier time seeing myself running each and every one of them, where as there are entire sections of some other bestiaries that i just haven't even touched.
Definitely a quality over quantity product. I have to admit I like the layout of the book. It makes it easier to parse out the information on the beasts included. Makes me want to give Dragonbane a look see.
@@wforgethe art and layout are great i personally feel for the price point that it should offer more. Especially when the monsters from the box set are in this book also.
@@TravisWilliams_ If monsters from the corebook where not in this one, people would complain that the new monsters have more info on them compared to the core ones. So I think it's still a fair trade having them here as well, but with a bit more detail.
My No. 1 Favorite Solo RPG
Just got mine. Love this system and Free league. Can’t go wrong

I just got my load of Dragonbane 💚 and i must say it looks great. I look foreward to reading through the material.
Very intriguing
Another good vid Jeff 👍
This supplement looks great. I love the artwork. I quite fancy playing a frog person. Definitely on my to-buy list.
I really like how they include plot seeds. I noticed that Forbidden Lands does that too. I'm really blown away by this game.
Howdy y'all!
I definitely want to pick this up. Of course, I haven't even gotten the starter box yet...
Dragonbane! Whooooo!
Must pick this up from my FLGS. Looks excellent.
Wondering when that Dragonbane hardcover corebook is on the way?
Just to mention, this wasn't all of them. There's a small handfull of creatures he jumped past, just so you know.

Tack!
A big thank you!
Love the artwork, the game was a miss for me though.
As a bestiary, where a lot of this is already in the box set, it seems light on content.
