I was there too in Dublin! Was hands down my fav ever concert badly wanted to see bad omens too and they didn’t disappoint, olie scream and low were unbelievable live!
Oli is really doing his part to being the gateway band that gets people into Metal music. Seeing the setlist, you'd think there's a good mixture of heavy stuff and accessible poppy stuff.. But then during the show Oli was throwing high screams in every single damn song very consistently and made everything a lot heavier than the studio version, but the brilliant production is there to make you enjoy it, even if you dont care for the heaviness of it all. My sisters boyfriend was with us and he listens to country music, he's not a metalhead and even he loved it all, he even said Dethrone was his favourite. Which is understandable because that rendition of Dethrone is without a doubt is the best one I've ever heard. The slowed down ending hit so much harder. Also, im pretty sure EVE said "whats the craic Dublin?" Also also. Big agree on the seated tickets. The standing atmosphere is incredible, but after a 2.5 hour drive down to Dublin, my back was already starting to hurt, so standing for a further 6 hours really did a number on me last night. I relished the moment where Oli had us sit down for 30 seconds during Throne lol
bmth do a great job at spacing their tour, they only did Uk and Ireland on this run so they don’t overwork themselves and it helps oli and the band massively
I was at the Newcastle show, man i need them to release the extended version of Dethrone. Eve did also throw shots at Newcastle every now and then, unfortunately we didnt get Noah for Antivist but im glad you did and glad you enjoyed the show
I've seen Bring Me 3 times now, twice on this tour alone. Each time I've seen them has been absolutely unreal. I love them so much and will always go see them whenever I get the opportunity
Man I feel bad for you to have missed Static Dress! Never heard them before and they were fantastic, super energetic! The extended breakdown in Courtney, just relax... was as good as dethrone
I saw them in Portugal last year, it was the best show of my life. I’m very short, but I just went for it in the pits, I sang, jumped, screamed, cried, got ran over by a ginormous guy in the crowd and had beer spilled on me several times. It was the best night of my life 😂 Also, Oli managed to do basically the whole show speaking portuguese, which was very impressive. I guess they really do personalized twists to their show, depending on the country
I brought a girl to polyphia for a first date, then later on brought another to Lorna shore for a first date. The polyphia show uhhh...worked better as a date to say the least
Me & my brother go to many shows together and he's not as into BMTH as me but came with us to the Manchester gig and we were both blown away by how good it was. The setlist, performance, crowd interaction, easily one of the best gigs I've ever been to, whenever they're round the UK again it's a must see show. Such a brilliant band and somehow even better live!
I saw them on Friday in Sheffield and the whole night was incredible. Nearly in tears a few times. I would.go to future tours as its allways somrthing new on each tour. I allways go seated
I definitely recommend seating when your with someone unfamiliar with the band. I'd especially recommend the side seating areas closer to the stage over the back too. I went to see Linkin Park with a relative during the OML tour, got sick of waiting for them to come here so I went to the UK. Not only is it great as a fan because you get to see everything clearly, but also you get to have some interactions with the band. Getting to lock eyes with Mike, Brad and Chester and sing with them and gesture and show appreciation directly with each other through a show is something I will forever have in my mind. But also for my relative, even though she only likes a handful of their songs, getting to see the band perform clearly and so close became memorable to her. Still to this day she talks about how amazing it was seeing Chester running all over the place and singing his heart out. Hoping to get tickets to see Slipknot in similar seating too. Man, so many bands I gotta see this year.....
Tis over 4 years now since I was in the 3Arena, with Slipknot being the last gig I attended there. Well, thats gonna change very soon when I get there again for Depeche Mode inna matter of days. HellYeah, cant wait. As far as indoor arena Metal shows goes, this one here looked good. Nicely narrated by ya, mate. Glad yis had a class time.
Saw Static Dress when they were opening for Loathe a few years ago in the states. Had literally never heard of them up until that point, but they kicked ass! Music and stage presence was insane and super energetic. Started listening to their music afterwards
Yeah I heard a lot of people skipped static dress :/ they were good and had such energy on stage! Wish I knew their songs! To be fair, the whole gig was almost 5 hours so I can understand why you may not want to stand that long ( Birmingham finished around 11.20pm due to an injury that stopped the show for 20min) id choose seats next time as I missed a lot of what happened on stage due to being short unfortunately & I was pretty close to the front. Another thing I've heard a lot of is Cassyette got sick at some point in the tour and was lipsyncing for some shows. So far as I could tell in Birmingham she was singing live (3rd night of NEX GEN UK tour, 2 weeks ago now)
You arrived late mate to far in the back. We arrived early with my gf and a friend also non metal fans and they left so excited for the whole show. They even got in the mosh pit hahaha absolutely unreal performance, Also, Noah was good. But will never transmit the same energy as Oli, he was and is a better frontman and overall performer. Even my gf that went for Bad Omen ended up liking more BMTH alive than Bad Omens itself. And is an absolute torture to sit on a show like this :)
I saw BMTH live for the first time last year and I still think it’s the best concert I’ve been to. My wife isn’t really in to metal that much but even she loved the show
I did look out for you but didn't see you unfortunately! Hopefully next time, would love to say hi! Was my first bmth concert as well. Unbelievable. Wish we could get more metal concerts over, i could get used to that. Totally feeling you on the part of wanting to be upstairs in the seating, and when your up there just wanna be down there with the energy. Im small as well so i always struggle to see things... Taking videos helps as i can see more 🤣
I was at the Sheffield show. And i was seated. And seeing everything, and the mosh pits was amazing. Ove cassyette too. We missed static dress, stuck in the merch line fir ike 45 mins. But it eas better than when i daw them in sept 21. And didn't think they could top that. But i did discover you me at six. Tveyre were great. And tbe nova twins were ok too. Not my style of music. But their stage presence was fun.
Great vid Drew! Always love how you intersperse the concert footage with what you talk about, makes the edits so clean. My wife is also not a metalhead and I played her some BOI WHAT the other day as a joke and she was like "why does this actually slap?" lol. Plankton is good gateway metal I guess 🤘
I can see where you're coming from about standing isn't too fun when you're shorter. I'm 6' 2, so me going to see Polaris last year, along with the emotion and personal connection I made, being able to stand at the back, and see the whole show, helped me truly enjoy myself. Glad you enjoyed yourself, and that she kind of did. Can take away that she at least enjoyed some of it, so yeah you can tailor the next concert better for her. Either way, concerts are awesome, I'd love it if we could get truly spoiled here in Australia, and get like a 'metalcore Australia tour'. Polaris show was my first concert in years, like since being a little kid, and now that I've sunk my teeth into more metalcore/metal in general again, there's so many more I want to see. And a Sleep Token headlining show thank you very much. I know they're coming with BMTH, but they need a big headlining tour here now, like come on, they toured just before TMBTE came out, like before they TRULY exploded. Alright, that's my mini concert rant over, cheers for another just solid good video Drew.
I was at the show and when oli said good night after singing “can you feel my heart” I thought doomed lost and throne were not gonna be played despite them being on the setlist. But I forgot that the crowd in 3Arena would be like “one more song one more song one more song” than chant “ole ole ole ole, ole ole” But honestly it was so hype
NAH, bruv! Best song they played, with so many emotions after knowing what the brazilian girl from the crowed went through her 15 year fighting cancer was Doomed. Damn that song hit me so hard. Us brazilian love Oli he even got a brazilian ID haha
Enjoyed your review bro.. Bring Me has always my go to band.. I live in Jacksonville Florida in the country and it’s hard to make it to see them venues are so far away… but one of these days I’ll make it.. hope you and your girl have the most wonderful life together… and enjoy many more shows together.. good day friend..
I think that they’re going to get all of the crowds chants that they asked to say those lyrics and put them all in 1 all together so every show will be on that single since he said for every show that they’ll be on the album
You keep saying this is the last show of the world tour! It's definitely not, just the last one of the uk leg! I'm seeing them in Australia on April and i can't wait! Thanks for the review
Thought that might've been the old Point Depot in Dublin and it was :D Used to go clubbing there back in 2001 when I lived in Dublin. Cool venue. Some events there were just bonkers stupid, no dancing allowed up top lol.
Thanks for this vid, the show looked awesome!! Taking my non-metalhead wife to Sleep Token the ONLY metal adjacent band she enjoys. Got balcony seats when I'm usually a pit dude. Might be my only chance to go to a metal show together haha.

I wasn't standing too far away from where you and your girlfriend were, at one point EVE did a sort of call and response from the crowd and after we had responded she said "That was shite, again!" 😂 fairly sure that was intentionally for us hahah
so i saw bmth/fob in jiffy lube live near washington DC. it was 96F out. oli was in basketball shorts. he made a couple jokes about lube and …. butt stuff. the venue is called jiffy lube live
such a shame tho. maybe 25 bmth fans there tops. i was pretty close up. i was so upset the majority of the people there was seated during bmth. fob fans needed to do better at my show i know it was hot but come on. oli was upset kinda
Im actually still so upset I won tickets to see them back in dublin but my flight was cancelled from Glasgow because of the storms and I dint get to see them :(

Not sure if you watched them live but Muse, in my opinion generally makes cooler productions than BMTH. I remember when they were touring the 2nd Law and that was definitely the experience. I love how more metal bands are putting more efforts on the value of the concert as an experience in addition to the music so that is great.

Ahhh yeah buddy! So glad you got to see that show man. It’s a real high water mark for live metal performances. So smooth, so cool, so entertaining.

EVE said "shite", which struck me as very Irish, but I feel like that's something a group of lads from Sheffield would say too!
Never even considered that man, you’re possibly right!
Yeah, she said shite at a few other shows too, might just be a sheff thing from them lol
