Thanks for posting this video, I'm thinking about getting into IMCA modifieds. I know back in the day I used to have a book. I wonder if I can still get that book
I found something out about Black diamond if you put your rear end in full droop your shock mount makes the shape of a J so at the extended part of the top of the curve of the J you take the drive shaft put it at 0° which is under acceleration then you have to go and measure your smash numbers then you have to go to the rights rear and measure your smash numbers then you can get a corrected ride height for your setup and your springs That means your fifth arm is disconnected so that you will be in continual droop That way you get maximum four-wheel drive without blowing the tires off
June 2, 2023, 10:19 a.m. central standard time: I had a Crate motor in my GRT. I recently put in an open motor. I am not getting enough bottom end. Can’t get out of the corners. Any suggestion as to what I can do?? Thanks.
Is it bogging like it has to much traction or if so you can try taking rear percentage out of the car. Also it may just be gearing. Put more gear to it until it doesn’t bog. Hope this helps!
@@robertsracecarsbybbb60 Speedway cars used to look really cool, now they look like a cardboard cut-out. Anyway I guess you have to race what is going now. Thanks for the reply and good luck with your racing from here in Australia.

That would be great to get initial setup that can compete with top 10 runners. Then you can learn to adjust your car that's great
Great info! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Ronnie. Really good content as always. I was wondering what the BBB means in your channel title stands for. 🙂
It’s a sponsor. Bass Bucks and Birds. Look it up he’s got some good stuff!
So am i setting the rear ride height by adjusting the lenght of the chain on the right side with the rear shocks and sping slider unhooked?
How do you adjust ride heights without the car sitting on the ground on all 4 springs?
Hey bud would you by chance know who built a PMS modified?? Not BMS but PMS ?
Never heard of it bud. Sorry
how much does the set up change from a mod to a sport mod?
Depends on what’s all different and your motor rules
Thanks for the lesson Ronnie! Glad I got to watch you at Deep south a couple weeks ago. Do you race Southern Raceway much?
No we don’t. They don’t really run the open/outlaw type mods there so we rarely get to go.
👍🏻👍🏻
Load stick on RF?
600-625lbs
Poor old car hasn’t seen quality cleaning and maintenance in a while. 😢
Wow, dirt cars have become butt ugly these days.
Lol some are but some aren’t. Better then most asphalt cars though.
