The last dialogue of Neninthe: No matter if the cinema flops or become a blockbuster, we should keep making cinema. Because Cinema is what we know, Cinema is what runs in our blood, Cinema is what life is for us." Best dialogue in recent times.
Really ?? Who cares.. we just want a little peace in this world and few less wars . Cinema can go ..sick it's own deick....😊.. it's just entertainment ..or of sort.. people have lived millions of years without it and will more without it.. may be they could use that time and be more creative and help humanity or those who can't help themselves and need humans... Cinema runs in my blood.. the my assss... Are you a producer's son?? Or you don't hv any reason to show this over the top lust for cinema.. 😊😊
@@bluered1686dude chill that dialogue was meant for tye people who wants to be a part of film industry and got dreams to fulfill in that art ., not for common people .

@@bluered1686 Maybe you are talking without context. That line is said by a filmmaker in the movie who passionate in his job. Stop lying to yourself Dangal was Chinese money hit, and no one knows where money came from@@TriedRefusedProductions Wait for some day it would be exposed of proxy funding
Our country has great IQ then, with diverse taste and variety. Number 1 highest grosser being a sports drama, number 2 being an ancient epic drama, third is a independence revolution story, fourth being a gangster story in fictional world, fifth is a dystopian movie with mahabharata references.
@@TriedRefusedProductions I think majority of Indian people have just Varela surviving so they go to movie theatres just to have some fun. Dangal was also fun to watch with good acting and storyline, but if some movies only provide fun elements like pushpa or pushpa2 people will celebrate that too.
Double iSmart really exposed the fact that the director can’t change and bring something new to Telugu cinema. Also this is one of your best vids I’ve seen! Really well done 👏
Movies like Pushpa and ismart will never do well in Kerala, where the literacy rate is 99% and the audience demands proper story, acting direction and plot. I'll just leave it at that😢😢

The fact that Hrithik Roshan in real life cannot play complex characters due to expectations like his character in luck by chance today is crazy...also Puri ended up becoming like Brahmis character unfortunately...
lol bro that's hrithik not SRK or Salman he can surely play such roles...it's just that he doesn't have the acting cops and the energy to do it...look at super30 he tried...and wasn't amazing but was decent enough and the movie did good...look at Kabil...he was great and people liked that tooo....now what more do you want??people did support when he played good so what more do you want......if you are expecting Kaabil or Super30 to do 500cr then that's your fault
@@Fe-ironman well he did say that he does not want to take up anymore complex characters in an interview post the failure of Vikram Vedha...thats why he went on to do fighter..
There are some crazy parallels for both films. If you see Isha Sharvani's character, its literally like every other product of nepotism working actively in the industry
Brahmi’s character in the film is actually self criticism. Puri is criticising himself with that character that is the reason the character is named “Idly” Viswanath which resonates with “Puri” Jagannath.
The film Neninthe is gem of its time and holds still relevent today I still remember ravi teja explaining how relationship works to the heroine it is literally why most relationships fail today and themes in that movie are so good and true

Udayanan tharam is a malayalam movie that I feel fits into this theme Disclaimer : Any resemblance of the character of Sreenivasan to our real superstars may or may not be intentional 😅
Something so different happened here in Nepal this past month. A family drama movie called PURNA BAHADUR KO SARANGI released during dussehra (competing with the likes of Singham and BB3). The movie didn't have any big stars. None of us even thought that a movie would make any buzz. But guess what, it ended up being the highest grosser of all time, collecting about 25cr inr which is unheard of. I am so happy that good acting and stories are getting appreciated here. We don't really have a star culture and i hope that we remain like that. Do check the trailer once, and you will be amazed that that movie is the highest grossing nepali movie ever
While listening about the south movie I constantly had Luck by Chance in my head which I saw in an almost empty theatre and always wondered why it flopped!!! Thanx for covering it👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Jammy, if you're reading this, let me say it outright. Cinema as we knew, it has undergone a radical transformation. Directors and scriptwriters, the true storytellers are increasingly sidelined, their creative freedom overshadowed by a new breed of decision-makers "BUSINESS SCHOOL GRADUATES". These industry gatekeepers now dissect films through the sterile lens of trends, target demographics, and profitability metrics. It’s all about algorithms, audience analysis, and the relentless chase for box office numbers. And you know what's most HEARTBREAKING? We’re losing the soul of storytelling in the process. And here’s my bold prediction: within the next 5 years, we might see actors licensing their AI-generated faces and voices, effectively turning them into brandable assets rather than artists. What once was a celebration of human creativity could easily devolve into a glorified tech demo, marketed as “cinema.” The future isn’t just knocking, it’s barging in, and it’s hard not to wonder if we’re applauding our own artistic demise.
My heart is truly broken reading your comment as I see a lot of it as inevitable reality! Screenshoting to remind people that Dipanshu called it in 5 years time 🥲
You have a great point but this transformation happened because cinema for the longest time was sponsored by some families and some investors who made huge losses and minimal profits. That financial model was not feasible. Not to mention , it lead to rampant exploitation, money laundering , harassment. The move to make it more organized and business oriented had a reason behind it. However, unfortunately, Indians as a demographic does not understand the concept of balance , grey shades, middle ground or boundaries and rules , the pendulum swing happened on the other extreme. Now all decisions are clinical cold and business like. So really you have creative chaos or impassionate organization.
Unrelated to today's topic, This may be a unpopular opinion, but i think srk 's all 3 movies released in last year were trash. Jawan did have some good mass elements but all 3 were below average. It's just his big break that cause that massive hype around them. Same as gadar 2 . Riding on nostalgia. No one from our industry truly critised SRK's films and his acting too. He overacted in each one of them.
that's bcoz has srk has massive PR machinery and all these pseudo critics who bash commercial mass cinema are part of his PR machinery. so SRK always gets favourable reviews from Bollywood critics operating from Bandra Juhu SoBo.
Yep all those mass hits movies were trash like kgf, jawan, pathan, gadar2, pushpa But as only these type of movies make money, we will keep getting those.
Ya, even KGF, Pushpa and RRR, Kalki are 🗑️. People don't like proper movies with good storylines. When SRK did Fan, it flopped. That's why they do mass movie which people nowadays enjoy.
Yes fan worship is so real. During pandemic one fan burnt himself in front of a hero's house, as he couldn't meet/wish his favourite star on his birthday.
"We make movies only for the audience" mindset makes the filmmaker loose their original style too, example: Rohit Shetty. At one point of time, atleast he used to make entertaining films now its just 3 day wonder if he is lucky
Movies like Pushpa, Singham again will never do well in Kerala, where the literacy rate is 99% and the audience demands proper story, acting direction and plot. I'll just leave it at that😢😢
Others in his circle said the audience works hard for their money and they want entertainment at the end of the day. Everyone wants to see movies where it doesn't remind them of reality. When salman khan's tubelight failed at the b.o, salman said people don't like sad movies. Wtf, those explanations and analysis of audience taste don't make any sense. That's how filmmakers in big industries are disconnected from the audience. They know what it takes to connect with the audience, but the reality is something else. How are rohit shetty movies, for instance are entertaining? Which planet does he come from.
One of my fav director it's like they think movies won't do good if it's not mass when people out there are going to watch old movies which theatres randomly select even on working days that's the power a movie should hold and when there is good movie there is literally no marketing for it yes small directors, producers don't have money but social media is free get into the algorithm, maybe a little money for social media pr......
Not now After watching singham again cirkus i must say Rohit Shetty lost charm singham again isn't give same vibe like singham no bgm from previous films no jump slap no angerness he should make story singham goes in Pakistan and defeated Omar Hafiz instead of Ramayana angle
@@Ashwini-u2p You do realise how big south industry is right? There's Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada. He's well versed with films in all of them as a northerner. That's impressive.

If someone doesn’t like a movie, that is their personal choice, and I respect it. However, certain reviewers labeling others as uneducated or using derogatory terms simply because they enjoy the movie-such as what is happening with Pushpa 2-is unwarranted and inappropriate, just as criticizing those who don’t like the movie is. I wanted to highlight this other side of the coin in movie reviews. Please note, this is not directed at you personally.
ive seen more of fans of pushpa 2 shaming the people who didnt like it and calling the people who criticize the movie as "bollywood pr" etc , these diehard fans need to learn to accept criticism first

@FalconR200 It makes sense that this kind of behavior would be frustrating. It’s definitely more productive if fans and critics can engage in respectful conversations rather than resorting to personal attacks or labels. At the end of the day, everyone gains more insight when we focus on the substance of each other’s viewpoints instead of dismissing them outright. Encouraging open-mindedness and understanding can help create a healthier environment for all movie discussions.
Luck by Chance is one of my favorite films. It was Zoya Akhtar's most heartfelt effort, made more with love and insight rather than just catering to the audience. All shades of grey in almost all the characters - the shrewd and manipulative Vikram, the straightout liar but emotional Romy Rolly and Dimple the glam diva who hurls the choicest Hindi gaalis.
After completing the video I am still in shock to hear that this movie is made by Puri Jagannath. Like really. Damn. Puri you made a masterpiece man. Just by hearing the scenes I am intrigued about the film. I really want to see it now.
Puri used to be a different beast...his itlu sravani subrahmaniam with Raviteja is polar opposite to the movies he make generally...he has a sensitive side but never explored it much..
Jammy you need to check out Udayananu Tharam(2005)💎 starring Mohanlal and Sreenivasan which deals with filmmaking and a director's struggles to get his films on floor❤ And the themes it deals is so universal.
I personally think the 1000 cr. mark for any Indian film was such a milestone till 2022 - beautiful stories like Dangal, Baahubali and RRR touching that mark used to tell us how much people loved that movie. Despite not liking KGF Chapter 2, i will still give it because masses resonated with the emotion and somehow liked the storytelling as well, which i despised personally. But extremely mid or routine movies like Pathaan, Jawan and recently Kalki 2898 AD (which on paper was good idea wise, but execution was bad especially in the tone) entering 1000 cr club just makes no sense and pushes the bar too low for even a average quality film to do such huge business. I got so used to it in last one and a half year, that Pushpa 2 earning 1000 cr. in 6 days felt very normal - despite its some of the biggest achievement of a movie financially.
@chiragshetty2336 vision is good, vfx CGI was good, even ending was good - but it lacks emotion, to feel for sumathi character, to care for a protagonist who doesn't care about anything and even the karn integration seems so forced. Not even mentioning the romance and comedy in dystopian kaliyug.
It was necessary for the movie to collect 1000 cr as it was first attempt of dystopian movie in such a big scale. We should support it. I am very eager to see kalki 2
Audience never said that they only want masala films. They will watch what is served to them, what glitters to them. This is why Pizza, Burgers are sold more than Vegetable juices, Millets. They are not healthy, they give cholestrol but we are addicted to them. Their stores are flashy with combo offers. Similarly commercial films are experts in flashy presentation. Only thing audience don't like is slow art movies, cliche commercial stuff served in old way.

I feel that this movie sheds light in a lot of matters and also makes fun of various actors like Mohanlal himself and mammotty off screen matters . An amazing movie written by sreenivasan sir and directed by roshan andrews. One of my all time favorites ❤
Saw luck by chance when it was released. Yes, it resonates with what you explained. Problem is that there is no solution to it immediately. Cinema industry might be illusioned as organized sector but it is truly an unorganized sector with ZERO SOP. We need to change the process, if we want to see maturity in the industry.
The public is largely to blame. We want thrills and over the top scenes in movies. We buy into the larger-than-life image of the actor and want that image to be married to the character they’re playing on screen. Any time an actor experiments outside of their comfort zone, the movie bombs completely. Movies are less works of art these days and more montages of hype scenes of “the hero”.
So this is the reason why farah khan now only direct her youtube video and taken distance from film (I want more films like om shanti om) ---tees mar khan---🤓
Only she could reunite the whole hindi film industry with her films.. in the current time where there are illogical cameos Her way of putting the cameo was brilliant
The kareena kapoor's "heroine" had lot potential but the film got stuck in their whole "glossyness of the industry" which they were commenting in their movie😂 wasted script
@@Ashwini-u2p ammm...fashion ha,good movie gotta say one of favorites but it other than the fact, that movie has one of the best cast acting we ever see (priyanka and whole crew,)it has the same problem it has with "heroine",not deep enough narratively.
Today is a clear example of how the industry treats its audience. When a woman tragically lost her life, not a single voice spoke up. No celebrities showed the courage to acknowledge the incident. But now that a celebrity is arrested, everyone suddenly finds their voice to support him. It's not wrong to stand by Allu Arjun, but where was this concern when she died? The selective outrage speaks volumes.
Neninthe is an absolutely one of a kind movie which was, is and will be relevant for a very long period 👌 Audience failed in recognising this gem 🙃 Whenever I watch this I relate the fan wars which happen in our states and so many life lessons too 👍Thank You Puri for giving this film 😁
This is one of the best works of puri. Perfect script, story line and ending. The best thing i like about this movie is it feels very natural unlike many puri movies where heroine is harassed by hero for love, unnecessary side comedy, punch lines etc.
Hi Anmol, this is the same telugu audience that made Shankarabharanam, Sagara Sangamam and many more a huge hit even before globalization. People who say that we are merely serving to the audience are just folks who do not or can not create new stuff.
Yesterday talked with an exhibitor he said that mass masala is missing since a decade we got only 4-5 proper mass masala that’s why hindi audinece is going to south films for that😢
not since decade it has been missing since last 2 decades when K Jo SRK shifted towards those boring KHNH KANK kind of crap movies without any mass entertainment thats why Salman is a bigger star than SRK in mass circuits. South was always best in mass commercial cinema now they are getting the benefits of dubbing movies directly from theatres.
Lmao the background is so iconic. Also, it makes me chuckle because Karan was the only one in the whole movie who gave the DOP strict instructions on the lighting.
I can never understand the type of crazy ppl call themselves fans when they step beyond the line of appreciating to harmful. I can’t be a fan of someone I don’t personally know. Just watching someone pretending to be a character and becoming their fan is insane while they have know clue of ur existence is crazy. Appreciate an actor playing a character

Wow.. brilliant observations about Luck by chance...I saw it when it released and loved it....keep up the good work.. .err ..u gotta change the mic or its placement though..its distracting at times ..
This is one of my all time favorites! Part of the reason for its failure is the combination hype of puri and raviteja where their previous three outings were highly successful commercial entertainers, also title implying a typical egoistic puri kind of alpha male, fans and audience were taken aback by the grounded nature of hero characterization. Also the outlook of film industry was still sort of a myth before the internet era. It took time for people to sit with harsh realities of film industry. May be they were expecting see the reflection of their perception created by the gossip magazines at that time. Another such gem is Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalraju that was directed by RGV. The movie revolves around a budding cinema lover who hates the present Telugu cinema and wants to change the face of it by his revolutionary story telling (RGV) himself. The journey and the influence of zillion factors from financiers to producers to technicians to distributors and even his assistants makes his female centric tragedy movie into a regular hero centric commercial movie and even goes to win best comedy when it releases. It’s sort of a meta on the movie itself where the story of hero is tragedy but ends up as a comedy for us.
@@joinobbintejahan1674I truly think that movie really oscar material which is unfortunately ignored by masses may be because it really highlight the society ugly reality .
The one particular statement that I just remembered from a UA-camr called the *Cosmonaut Variety Hours* when Blade Runner 2049 released is this "People aren't going to watch this movie because it's not your average Hollywood Sequel/Remake, what I meant to say that watch the Jurassic World movies they're just recycling the same ideas of the original, where in *Blade Runner 2049* it expands the world & explore themes much deeper than the original".
I thought the same when I read the news about Pushpa 2. The glee with which Sanjay Kapoor talks about the unfortunate incident in the ticket line and everyone else patting themselves on the back was a very sharp commentary, way ahead of its time.
That is why I love SRK Fan movie because it shows that how fan becomes obssessed with his favourite star without knowing that an stars is also humans and this shows the today's reality of Fanatics especially for South Indian Telugu stars
I have an unpopular opinion when we use to go to theatres in our childhood days we always used to feel like this is the best experience nothing can replicate it.....whereas nowadays it feels like its better to watch a film on LED tv or oled or qled tv it looks juts same that's it doesn't feel like we're watching movies or getting excited for it and then there is lack of stories ans fixed genre... the reason it feels like because we heavily use digital cameras that are at max 4k to 6k quality yhe source itself can be viewed on laptops or TVs but earlier when filmmakers used analog film cameras which nolan or Tarantino uses it possessed of such great source that can be remastered for generations and genuinely used to feel watching a marvel in theatre....for example 2001 a space Odyssey had an 8k 70mm source that time it still looks stunning for a 1969 movie the apu Trilogy looks stunning on 4k bluray....but today overpriced tickets, lack of stories, fixed genres, and digital cameras not worthy source for image quality.. in today's day and age when shows like succession are filmed on analog film cameras to make it more cinematic....we seriously lack in making a simple film a visual spectacle there are exceptions the batman, blade runner 2049, or even RRR (in some scenes) majority it doesn't feel like you're watching a film that is worthy of cinema experience for example I watched Wong Kar Wai's In the mood for Love (2000) it's a beautiful romance but an absolute visual feast with a cinematography for the ages that's the point don't get me wrong when I say a visual spectacle should be fantasy or action mass films but beautiful stories that have visual appeal....Last I was blown away by cinematography in Hindi Cinema in theatres were Dev D, Haider, Tumbaad, and Sardar Udham (on Prime)
AAMIR KHAN is a different breed man he always and always did something different and challenging not having a fear of what people or his fans think while SRK did these things in the past but now he is stuck same goes for SALMAN This toxic fan culture thing is through the roof for south stars, you know when Vijay announced his retirement people threw slippers tomatoes stone at his car while he was in Jr ntr says he never wants to do a negative role Allu arjun saying commercial masala films is the pinnacle of cinema Mahesh babu saying hindi cant afford me i will not go beyond Telugu because of the love that i get from here The only stars that comes to my mind that dares in the south region is NANI and PRABHAS while i would say it is easy for NANI because he is not as big as the others but for PRABHAS he is the biggest among all the south stars but still dare to do something new, and if you think about it only kalki had gone straight fan service i dont remember it in saaho, radhe shyam, adipurush(altough you should not do fan service of the lead in such film), salaar(it had elevations scenes of deva) and i hope he continues to do that you can love him or hate him for his recent performances but you cant say that he is not trying and isnt the best person among all his peers
Allu Arjun arrested by Hyderabad Police in connection with a tragic stampede at the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4. The incident resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to her son.
Whenever A Telugu movie becomes blockbuster, your eyes filled with negativity. Then you will start with these kind of gyan videos. Still dont worry, coming days you have to come up with more videos because teligu movies make more sound in your land.
You should also watch the telugu film 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppaali' which explores the themes of challenges faced by women who is keen to get into film industry as a heroine. Played beautifully by Krithi Shetty. The film is available on Prime video and UA-cam
Audience should take every movie review with a pinch of salt. A lot of movie critics get money to bash a movie or praise it. Others have there political sensibilities clouding their cinematic judgement.
@TriedRefusedProductions U follow Anupama Chopra similar template of scene to scene review U lost your credibility long time bruh U r not knowing that thing that's it from pathaan and after rrr and during salaar (I'm not prabhas fan) but the degradation of tollywood is evident in every podcast review and u get views on their name. That's the bad thing U were about to troll Telugu audience and cinema on shaan podcast with pj he cut it . This is one of your best videos watched in recent times. Glad to know that you’ve loved neninthe. You’ll only see puri jagganadh in the film not ravi teja!!
I was too young to understand Neninthe when it released. I thought it was mid. But as my understanding of cinema grew, the movie and some of its scenes kept on playing in my mind. I haven't watched it for the 2nd time, but its as fresh as it was 16 yrs ago.
Luck by Chance is a special movie & one of favourites. I have watched it 10-12 times and can't get enough of it! Zoya Akhtar's directorial debut is a masterpiece, showcasing her unique blend of maturity, wit, and satire. It's a pity that the audience didn't fully appreciate it then but feel that would get more acclaim if released today as modern audience’s taste is evolving.
What is jammy's obsession with hating telugu industry? There are good and bads in tamil, malayalam and many industry but he always points out positives about it.
He literally has videos praising south cinema but sure go ahead and prove his point further by not being to take constructive criticism coz you are too immersed in hero worship where only positive review is acceptable
My favourite thing about Luck by Chance is that Farhan and Konkona are both from dynasty families, but managed to embody the struggle of the outsiders, while also being appreciated for the same. In today's environment, a genuinely talented star kid like Ranbir or Alia doing such a movie would literally get trashed for being nepobabies.
Rajnikanth has taken efforts to stop obsessive fans...but it could never get his hard-core fanatics to stop the obsession..... it's almost like such fanatic fan base is bigger then the star itself.
I loved "Luck By Chance" when I watched it when it first came out. That love has grown into respect. One of the biggest reasons for that is that it has a clearly unlikable lead character and isn't afraid to show how most people have grey shades. It takes talent to conceive and make a movie like that. I can't imagine something like this being made today, just like I can't imagine movies like "Rang De Basanti" or "Jodha Akbar" being made today. We are lost and I blame the prevailing sociopolitical and cultural atmosphere for that.
Even though it is the creator that has the whole accountability and responsibility of making good content, it's the audience who gives them validation by worshipping their mediocre venture. They consume that's why they deliver!
this kind of fanaticism is rampant even in the industry and celebrity worship has just become the norm in most countries not just india, especially since the rise of social media. 'fandoms' are recognized by the media , sometimes directly addressed by the celebrity themselves not to mention how the celebrity talks about the struggles and goals in 'our' sentences. like as if it's not just his success but even their fandom's. and the regular fan likes this importance and duty the celebrity gives them. they feel special and entitled to whatever they can do to ensure their god gets what he wants. little do they know actor/ label/ agency/director/artist only cares that they have a consistent monetary source, that goes to watch or listen to them, no matter the quality of material they put out.
It was before social media also. In 1970's Kannada film industry. Rajkumar fans and Vishnuvardhan fans used to clash on streets. Amitabh fans used to rush, fight, inside single screen theatres of 1980's. Rajni fans in 1990's used to conduct massive festival outside theatre. Chiranjeevi fans, Balakrishna fans clashed in 1990's, 2000's. Tamil cinema of 2000's used to see clashes pf Vijay fans, Ajith fans , Surya fans 😢😢😢😢
It was kinda subjective statement but if you think about it in 1.5B population if 1B digs movies like these then the other 500mill just gets rub of under the carpet.
Ajithkumar dismissed the fans association and addresses fans to dont call him"thala", "k* Ajith". Ajith has a unique approach for his followers that, following him is secondry and focuss on our lives
I think there's a echo chamber who is pushing the narrative of the film industry. Whenever a Bollywood makes a film like Fan, Singham Again, Tiger Zinda Hai, Tiger 3, Fighter people will complain about logic or direction or pacing. They will give examples of Hollywood writers and all. When a nonsense like Pushpa 2, KGF 2 will come suddenly everyone will post, films are entertainment. You don't need brain to watch the film. People means These self claimed critic.
The sad truth is that the audience who celebrates super fictional films in theatres are barely interested in insights of the Industry and this is a universal phenomenon. See a film like Babylon though it has its own flaws but u can't ignore the vision of Damien Chazelle. Recently in India also a web series titled The Industry produced by tvf showcase the working of hindi film industry from a Writer's pov. Though the pitch and beats of the series was little over dramatic but the sarcasm and portrayal was on point.
As if Bollywood doesn't have manic fans who tattoo superstars names on their bodies and their rooms are filled with actors pictures. The toxic fanbase as Anmol mentions has been more evident in Bollywood than any other industry. When Jigra failed, these people started to downplay Stree 2, Singham and BB3 in hopes that Jigra's failure could be salvaged. But the audience always knows better than such UA-camrs who are paid PR for a handful of nepo actors.
Hello Jammy! Your work is very good as always. Really appreciate your work. Thanks for delivering good content. And the best part of you is that you really reply to your audience as much as you can so that as you put your perspective and see your audience perspectives too. I watched Pushpa 2 it felt really bad that how Sukumar and Allu Arjun ruined movie. You showed Fafa's character as threat to him and Shekhawat was serious that kuch to kam hai scene from part 1 was pure magic. Then in second they wasted as if he really didn't mattered to him because you are making pushpa National level villian then why was the setup in 1st movie itself. Sukumar was going to make series 1st and it feels like series only where pushpa character is like a Vijay Mallya just making money power facing little troubles and overcoming and finally reaching to Japan. Nobody can do anything to him. Like if you see pushpa part 1 1st half family matter then 2nd part police comes then in part 2 1st half it continues the police story then 2nd half police gone family arc completes here. I mean really in 1st scene suddenly you showed suddenly Phir bhi dil hai Hindustani and in interval block he is peeing in the pool in which Shekhawat is. I mean really thats how you ll potray it. Is this the elevation? And people are loving it i didn't get that. Pushpa humiliated this much, undressed Shekhawat in 1st part then he peed and now Shekhawat can't do anything. Sukumar and Allu are very good. Sukumar has given gems like Arya, Rangasthalam. Pushpa 1 was good ok ok. But the portrayal really i mean this is how you ll show to people. As a creators you ll better your creation not you ll cringe it. Really disappointed by them Jammy.
Directors losing touch with their films in the latter half of their careers is such a recurring theme. Whether it’s Hitchcock or Ram Gopal Varma, Coppola or Shankar, Ridley Scott or Puri Jagannadh, directors do tend to lose their touch. That whole discussion about Tarantino making only 10 films is getting criticized, but oh god, does it make sense in so many cases. But then we have the likes of Mani Ratnam, Spielberg, and Scorsese, who have evolved beautifully and are still making great cinema-and more importantly, are constantly vocal about new voices. Why this happens with only a few is something I can’t comprehend
Self consumption is the root cause for the decline. It exhausts brain at certain point and the reason directors like Mani Ratnam stay afloat is bcs they know their limits and they are so aware of it that they become malleable over time and adapt to it instead of going into a limbo of self introspection which definitely is enough to lose path!!

Screenshoting to remind people that Dipanshu called it in 5 years time 🥲
Ready Player One movie comes in mind by seeing this comment
Black mirror series
You have a great point but this transformation happened because cinema for the longest time was sponsored by some families and some investors who made huge losses and minimal profits. That financial model was not feasible. Not to mention , it lead to rampant exploitation, money laundering , harassment. The move to make it more organized and business oriented had a reason behind it. However, unfortunately, Indians as a demographic does not understand the concept of balance , grey shades, middle ground or boundaries and rules , the pendulum swing happened on the other extreme. Now all decisions are clinical cold and business like.
So really you have creative chaos or impassionate organization.
This is true in all entertainment mediums

Agree with everything...except Kalki...the vision, the vfx and the ending is still mind blowing
@@Akgaming-em3ce exactly my point.
Kalki? Really? It is the rarest attempt made at a scale like that.

Hi Anmol, this is the same telugu audience that made Shankarabharanam, Sagara Sangamam and many more a huge hit even before globalization. People who say that we are merely serving to the audience are just folks who do not or can not create new stuff.

Yesterday talked with an exhibitor he said that mass masala is missing since a decade we got only 4-5 proper mass masala that’s why hindi audinece is going to south films for that😢

I recommend you to watch another meta movie "appalaraju" by ram gopal varma...this time the movie is on funnier side
How do u come up vd these succinct intros jammy. Even vdout knowing the language.... Sumtyms i forget dat u r not a telugu guy ..... It's a pleasant surprise everytym....
He just watched the movie 2 days back and posted it on ig and memes regarding it
An analysis of Neninthe from TRP, Wow man❤
Wow.. brilliant observations about Luck by chance...I saw it when it released and loved it....keep up the good work..
.err ..u gotta change the mic or its placement though..its distracting at times ..
I do not think audience are that dumb as they rejected Guntur Kaaram, Double Ismart, Kanguva, Indian 2, The Legend etc.
When it comes to movie based on reality of showbiz and showing the real life of socialites it has to be madhur bhandarkar's PAGE 3 .
Page 3 really good movie but no one talk about it ….they only talk about fashion movie cause that got box office collection
Srk fans fight with salman fans 😑 .
On point ☝️
That means you are not child anymore! You can be thrilled like child only few times in life. Be ok with that fact!
@@SchoolOfUnlearning3 thanks for this enlightened perspective sir 🙏
What a coincedence ! That this video dropped when aa arrested in a stampade case caused by his fans
Luck By Chance was way ahead of it's time. Brilliant movie and performances.
AAMIR KHAN is a different breed man he always and always did something different and challenging not having a fear of what people or his fans think while SRK did these things in the past but now he is stuck same goes for SALMAN
This toxic fan culture thing is through the roof for south stars, you know when Vijay announced his retirement people threw slippers tomatoes stone at his car while he was in
Jr ntr says he never wants to do a negative role
Allu arjun saying commercial masala films is the pinnacle of cinema
Mahesh babu saying hindi cant afford me i will not go beyond Telugu because of the love that i get from here
The only stars that comes to my mind that dares in the south region is NANI and PRABHAS while i would say it is easy for NANI because he is not as big as the others but for PRABHAS he is the biggest among all the south stars but still dare to do something new, and if you think about it only kalki had gone straight fan service i dont remember it in saaho, radhe shyam, adipurush(altough you should not do fan service of the lead in such film), salaar(it had elevations scenes of deva) and i hope he continues to do that you can love him or hate him for his recent performances but you cant say that he is not trying and isnt the best person among all his peers
You forgot Kiccha sudeep, Rakshit shetty.
😊
Sudeep had some experimented movies in 2000's and early 2010's. Even though some were remakes.
But after 2017, he went to mass movies.
Rakshit shetty had great movies
Ulidavaru kandante(2014)
Kirik party(2016)
Charlie (2022)
Sapata sagaradache yello(2023).
😊😊😊
Except Jr NTR is doing a lead negative role in War 2 especially he would overshadow Hrithik in this movie
I think this can be your most impactful video yet
Allu Arjun arrested by Hyderabad Police in connection with a tragic stampede at the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4. The incident resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to her son.
He isnt
Arjun didn't tell anyone to do any harm. It is the public's fault.
SRK cameo from luck by chance still so memorable, giving Farhan the eye opener
CORRECTION: Luck By Chance is on prime video. (was looking for the film as the video was going on itself😂)
Its on Netflix re! Just checked again
@TriedRefusedProductions wtf is my ott collection high on then 😂
1:17 just watch upendra's "shhh" film it will break that convention and it also broke the BO
Audience should take every movie review with a pinch of salt. A lot of movie critics get money to bash a movie or praise it. Others have there political sensibilities clouding their cinematic judgement.
When people hype avg.film so much that the below average sequel is on the verge to become the highest grossing Indian Film..😭💀
That review scene mainly targets u
I have never spilled out a summary in a spoiler free review
@TriedRefusedProductions U follow Anupama Chopra similar template of scene to scene review U lost your credibility long time bruh U r not knowing that thing that's it from pathaan and after rrr and during salaar (I'm not prabhas fan) but the degradation of tollywood is evident in every podcast review and u get views on their name. That's the bad thing U were about to troll Telugu audience and cinema on shaan podcast with pj he cut it . We accept what we like They are not made for you PPL who like they will watch U don't have right to scold or say audience to not watch this that because the movies are doing good and Ur fav industries malayalam and bollywood are getting negativity. As Telugu PPL we didn't do negativity on anyone unless they start. Suraj apologised for salaar hope u guys do realise that That clash made u hate prabhas doing greater than all
This is one of your best videos watched in recent times. Glad to know that you’ve loved neninthe. You’ll only see puri jagganadh in the film not ravi teja!!
Only good conviction movies are working,
Prime example:- Pushpa 2
You gonna love this or pure hate this, but you can't ignore this.
Ironically….Bro is shifting his intro to Tamil and Telugu instead of Hindi
And he is saying Hindi movies are getting influenced by south cinema 😊
many episodes where I have referenced Telugu and Tamil films in the intro. Even for MATLAB KUCH BHI episodes. It's not that deep
What is jammy's obsession with hating telugu industry?
There are good and bads in tamil, malayalam and many industry but he always points out positives about it.
Exactly 🤣
You proved him right
He literally has videos praising south cinema but sure go ahead and prove his point further by not being to take constructive criticism coz you are too immersed in hero worship where only positive review is acceptable
Atleast Farhan & Konkona are way versatile actors than both Ranbir & Alia atleast especially with not having PR
Fun fact : the name of the character played by brahmanandam is 'idli vishwanath'. A parody name for 'puri jagannath' himself
Rajnikanth has taken efforts to stop obsessive fans...but it could never get his hard-core fanatics to stop the obsession..... it's almost like such fanatic fan base is bigger then the star itself.
Man.. Luck by chance is 15 years old. Why does it feels like I watched it only few years ago. Some movies just have a different impact on you
What about Om Shanti Om? It was about the film industry and was a blockbuster.
5:05 it's not exaggerated. It's true especially in Telugu and Tamil industries.
this kind of fanaticism is rampant even in the industry and celebrity worship has just become the norm in most countries not just india, especially since the rise of social media.
Tamil cinema of 2000's used to see clashes pf Vijay fans, Ajith fans , Surya fans
😢😢😢😢
Someone 🤡 said in the comments that certain movies decide collective IQ of a country and another big 🤡 replied that he agrees.
It was kinda subjective statement but if you think about it in 1.5B population if 1B digs movies like these then the other 500mill just gets rub of under the carpet.
This video is the right slip to Hollywood level director Mr sukumar Christopher Nolan 😂😂😂
Watch 1 Nenu Okkadine and Rangasthalam ❤ then edit ur Comment
@@Anilkumar-ij8kl
He might have done good movies ...but I'm commenting on his present Oscar award winning movie 👏🏻
@@HY57314so why can't you do same with Raju Hirani, Rohit shetty, karan johar, zoya akhtar and many more
These are the kinds of videos I expect from this channel....Good one.
Also, I see "Dance Collabs" in your intro...........Just saying.!
Katha screenplay darshkatvam appalaraju by RGV was another gem where the industry shenanigans are put into perspective beautifully
Ajithkumar dismissed the fans association and addresses fans to dont call him"thala", "k* Ajith". Ajith has a unique approach for his followers that, following him is secondry and focuss on our lives
Thala fans are truly blessed . They forcefully or voluntarily get to focus on their families and their career ❤❤
Sir, for an inside view of the industry, you should watch "Udayanaanu Tharam". Toplined by Mohanlal.
Bebo getting Rajkumar Rao's point is hilarious 😂
That's irony 😂
As if Bollywood doesn't have manic fans who tattoo superstars names on their bodies and their rooms are filled with actors pictures. The toxic fanbase as Anmol mentions has been more evident in Bollywood than any other industry. When Jigra failed, these people started to downplay Stree 2, Singham and BB3 in hopes that Jigra's failure could be salvaged. But the audience always knows better than such UA-camrs who are paid PR for a handful of nepo actors.
Most toxic star hero fans are Vijay Josef from tamil and Pavan Kalyan from telugu industries...
