Thanks! Yeah might be bc of my more run and gun approach but idk how people hold their rigs up for a full day shoot lol Unless it’s on an easy rig, tripod or shoulder mount the whole time
Yeah its interesting, the internal canon batteries are 7.4v so the camera definitely can run off that voltage But for the npf plate it needs to be plugged into the 12v port to work. Not sure exactly why thats the case
Yeah my 17mm becomes a 24mm full frame equivalent. Bc mft is 2x crop compared to full frame and I have the .71 speed booster So (2 x 0.71) = 1.42 17 x 1.42 ~ 24mm Since you have the XL 0.64, yours is like 22mm full frame equivalent
@@Drrezzin Yeah but the crop is already 2x on MFT compared to full frame so have to factor that in too. You can compare it to the wide angle on a smart phone that 13mm FF equivalent to see the difference
Hey can you update us as to whether or not you had any issues with this setup? Im a inch away from ordering all the parts you mentioned but few youtubers advise against trying to.power monitkr and camera from one power source. Thanks!
@@cedartreefilms thanks for the updates. Some people say using more expensive controlled voltage cables might mitigate the risks but I'm no electrician...
Awesome small setup. Its nice to see a rig that actually makes sense/works rather than trying to make it the size of a house just for the sake of ego.

size of a house lmaoooo
Me encanta esa distribución; lo único que veo es la batería que se va sin previo aviso
That’s awesome. Thank you.
The camera needs 12V to turn on. The NPF battery only spits out 7.4V. With that said, I don't think you're getting power from the NPF.

@@cedartreefilms Are you able to power on the camera with just the NPF?
yes its worked for me since I got the 4k in september, currently the only way I power it
With the Metabones being a focal reducer, doesn't the 17MM go wider? I have a Tamron 17-35MM and with my Metabones .64, mine looks wider than 17MM.

I thought it was the lens times . 71 or . 64. Like 17MM x . 64, which would be close to 11MM.

I haven’t had any issues with it but have read other saying it could happen. If you’re worried about the risk I’d say just get separate batteries

Need someone to print that for me
You can check local libraries. Surprisingly lots have them now
nice!
how long does that battery last?
The 750 last at least two hours from what I recall
@@cedartreefilms that’s not bad at all. I’m gonna give it a shot. Thanks for the video
@@oliverb5798 sweet! would be great to hear how it works out for you

I have a feeling you're going to fry your HDMI port very soon please be careful
How so?
