The Mandalorian is an upcoming American space-opera web television series that is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on November 12, 2019. Set in the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas, the series will take place between the events of Episode VI - Return of the Jedi and Episode VII - The Force Awakens, and follows a lone Mandalorian gunfighter beyond the reaches of the Republic. Jon Favreau served as a writer, creator, and showrunner for the series, and will executive produce alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. The series stars an ensemble cast featuring Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog, and Taika Waititi.

@@Thrashman138 People are going to complain no matter what. My wife, who saw Star Wars in theaters, the first movie she ever saw as a child, loves the current Star Wars. It is amazing to watch people lambast the new movies as not this or too that, blah blah blah. This is the same subset of people who, when the prequels came out, said they were the worst things ever, only to convince themselves they were actually really awesome a decade later so they could hate the new movies. Rogue One, as far as I'm concerned, is the best movie in the entire franchise.

Man, I got so fucking emotional when Pedro says John tells him He’s playing the Mandalorian. Pretty sure I would have lost my mind as well. Bonus to see Gina Carrano and Carl Weathers joining the cast Gina is an amazing woman, actress and deserves the fame this will bring her. Carl Weathers is great for his role as well, always loved the guy. The only one missing is Carlos Esposito, another amazing actor on board. Amazing stuff! Cannot wait to see this series.
This is one of the best interviews I’ve seen, everybody on that panel felt genuine and they displayed their love for Star Wars.

Little did the fans at the time know... the Mandalorian would be playing a vast vast second fiddle in this series to this generations 'New Hope' for Star Wars... the Child owns the internet already, wait til the merch is out

Man I wish I could have seen this panel, but it was a lottery system and I didn’t get it. I had no idea how huge this was going to be at the time. Little did we know about the little puppet co-star. Well done on keeping him a secret. I’m glad I saw the first episode on the debut day.

I love that you can hear both guys and gals yell at the first sound of his name. For Gina too. I was watching the Disney Collections when they show how they make the scenes, and yes... I don't remember seeing her stunt double at all. Wow!

After seeing the sizzle reel, the trailer, and the lengthy clip...I'm sorry that this show can't be seen on the BIG SCREEN. Honestly, IF they released the first 2 episodes in theaters, they would make $50 Million in one weekend...TRUST ME. And, then, people would FLOCK to Disney+ to watch the rest. Get on that, Disney/Lucasfilm Ltd.!
If I had the option to watch all of the Mandalorian right now or episode 9, I'd choose The Mandalorian every time, 100%. This looks so good, John Favreau and Dave Filoni is a dream pair to work on this. I hope this pushes Dave Filoni to work on the movies from now on and becomes something like a Kevin Feige for Star Wars. Kathleen Kennedy is clearly not suited to being the Kevin Feige for Star Wars, let Dave step in, he was mentored by George himself and understands Star Wars better than anyone else. Disney+ Has my money immediately.
I had the options on ep 9 opening day, I did stream the Mandalorian and never even thought about Ep 9. I can confirm this to be true in reality as well as in theory :)

@@conner3626 I’m assuming it’s the horrible slander Grace Rudolph was spreading about Pedro that he was difficult to work with. Allegedly walking off set snd having a full out temper tantrum because he had to wear the helmet a lot on set. I know you can’t get 100% accurate information from interviews but I have not gotten a single vibe that this man is nothing but the loveable goofball he seems to be. So gracious and humble.
This was a nice panel and seeing them putting so much money bringing this to life says it's going to be incredible.
