tbh i was upset at first about them not getting together in the second season but i honestly kinda appreciate how the obx producers have stretched out their relationship so far and not rushed it. like it’s more satisfying to see all these tiny pieces over the past two seasons of them knowing it will probably finally come together cuz you can just see them subtly clearing the way for them to be together

ok here is my season 3 theory.. rafe and kiera used to date when she was in the kook world, that’s why he didn’t shoot the boat in episode 10 of season 2. there’s also so much tension between those 2 throughout yhe show, as well as that could be the reason why kiera and sarah weren’t friends at the start. but as we saw in the video rafe said ‘tell kiera she looks pretty hot for a pogue’ which again goes back to mine and many others theory (sorry this was so long lol)

This is what I think : Kie generally likes Pope, and wanted to explore her relationship with him. She was unsure weather it was love or not with him and tried her best to make it work, but then she realized it wouldn’t ever happen because they both want such different things. Notice how the writers tried her with John B, then Pope, and now the only one left is Jj, the only one she hasn’t explored a relationship with. That almost guarantees some more action between them in season 3 In ep 10 szn 2 at the very end when John B lifts up Sarah’s hand, Pope does Cleo, and Jj does Kie, that couldn’t have been a mistake right? Def so foreshadowing. And when I’m szn 1 Kie rejects Pope because she says she wants to travel and doesn’t want to do what Pope wants to, that was also foreshadowing episode 10 of season 2 when they’re locked together in the bin and Jj’s manifesting his surf trip and she wants to come! Honestly i get why all the boys are in love with her. Even though there all kinda mad at her and each other cause they just want to be with her. she still care about them even when they do stupid shit cause she just wants them to be happy.
As it stands right now I don't think Kiara deserves Jj, she's seemingly had a crush on John B, then she randomly went for pope who for the most part she used, and now it seems like Jj's the only one left but Jj needs someone whose stable and consistent and sure of them selves and right now that's not Kiara, I do feel like their end game but there's some growing that needs to be done. Lalita palmieri Kiara kept sending mixed signals, she knew very well early on that she didn't like pope like that, yet she still stayed in the relationship and because she kept it going she made Pope feel like they were working towards something everytime they would do anything intimate or romantic he would even ask her before hand if everything was ok and she seemed so convinced that it was what she wanted, she was very impulsive and it felt like because of her parents lack of understanding her that she was using/dating Pope as an act of rebellion that's why I said she used him it felt like it was more about pissing her parents off by being with a pogue then actually genuinely trying to make the relationship work.
I agree somewhat. I feel like the John B thing was so random and unnecessary cause she shot him down immediately after leading him on. Then she went after Pope and then shut that down too. But I do think she’s loved JJ the whole time but was scared to admit it because she knows THAT would be real. Plus her friendship with JJ is extremely special and much different than her friendship with the others. I feel like she was scared to admit that she had finally fallen in love with the one person that would break her if it ended.

I think they are gonna use this as plot in another season. After her and Pope break-up, they're gonna realize how they feel and try to keep it on the dl but ends up being exposed and then there is gonna be a rift in the group because Pope still loves her and his best friend lied to him.

Okay, here's what I think would be perfect: It will take time for them to finally get together. They will have problems, mostly related to Pope, (although I think the writers will make Pope n Cleo together, I won't complain btw lol they did have alot of chemistry), but at the end, Kie and JJ will work things out. JJ will think he doesn't deserve Kie because how fucked up he is and when they finally get together, Kiara's parents won't accept JJ as Kie's boyfriend and that will be another obsticle in their relationship. When everything works out n both Kiaras parents and Pope will approve of their relationship and every problem will go away, they will go on that surftrip. We will see them happy for a little while and THEN, something will happen. They are going to break up and THAT is when a timejump will happen. A few years will pass and we are going to see how messed up they'll become without eachother and ones they'll meet again, Kiaras parents will be against them again because of how Kiara's heart has been broken, but JJ's heart has been broken too. They will work everything out and Kiara's parents will love Kiara no matter what so they will accept JJ into their family because they will see what an amazing person he really is and that he is perfect for their daughter. At the end of the series, we will see John B and Sarah getting married and at the wedding we will see Cleo and Pope's children and their happy family. After that Sarah, John B, Pope, Cleo, Kiara and JJ (The pogue squad) will all gather together in JJ and Kiara's bamboo house where we will see Kiara and JJ's dog and THAT, my ladies and gentleman, is when Jiara will finally be, ENDGAME

*Spoiler season 2* does anyone else think that Pope is going to be with Chloe and Kiara is finally going to be with JJ? Idk it felt like the producers saw that they made a mistake with Pope and Ki in season 1 and tried to find something so that JJ and Ki could be a couple without Pope getting destroyed. It’s just the way Pope looked at Chloe in the last episode of season 2.... I feel like they gonna fall in love...

This is what I think :
Kie generally likes Pope, and wanted to explore her relationship with him. She was unsure weather it was love or not with him and tried her best to make it work, but then she realized it wouldn’t ever happen because they both want such different things. Notice how the writers tried her with John B, then Pope, and now the only one left is Jj, the only one she hasn’t explored a relationship with. That almost guarantees some more action between them in season 3
In ep 10 szn 2 at the very end when John B lifts up Sarah’s hand, Pope does Cleo, and Jj does Kie, that couldn’t have been a mistake right? Def so foreshadowing. And when I’m szn 1 Kie rejects Pope because she says she wants to travel and doesn’t want to do what Pope wants to, that was also foreshadowing episode 10 of season 2 when they’re locked together in the bin and Jj’s manifesting his surf trip and she wants to come! It all falls nicely into a perfect bow :)) JIARA ENDGAME WOOHHH

As it stands right now I don't think Kiara deserves Jj, she's seemingly had a crush on John B, then she randomly went for pope who for the most part she used, and now it seems like Jj's the only one left but Jj needs someone whose stable and consistent and sure of them selves and right now that's not Kiara, I do feel like their end game but there's some growing that needs to be done. This edit is still top notch though love it!

Lalita palmieri Kiara kept sending mixed signals, she knew very well early on that she didn't like pope like that, yet she still stayed in the relationship and because she kept it going she made Pope feel like they were working towards something everytime they would do anything intimate or romantic he would even ask her before hand if everything was ok and she seemed so convinced that it was what she wanted, she was very impulsive and it felt like because of her parents lack of understanding her that she was using/dating Pope as an act of rebellion that's why I said she used him it felt like it was more about pissing her parents off by being with a pogue then actually genuinely trying to make the relationship work.
I agree somewhat. I feel like the John B thing was so random and unnecessary cause she shot him down immediately after leading him on. Then she went after Pope and then shut that down too. But I do think she’s loved JJ the whole time but was scared to admit it because she knows THAT would be real. Plus her friendship with JJ is extremely special and much different than her friendship with the others. I feel like she was scared to admit that she had finally fallen in love with the one person that would break her if it ended.

I love this relationship when they were both happy together even though it was a short time, and I'm glad it acc happened and the writers put it in, to show the relationships of everyone and more anger and fights and DrAmA between charecters emotions.

I think they are gonna use this as plot in another season. After her and Pope break-up, they're gonna realize how they feel and try to keep it on the dl but ends up being exposed and then there is gonna be a rift in the group because Pope still loves her and his best friend lied to him.

Okay, here's what I think would be perfect:
It will take time for them to finally get together. They will have problems, mostly related to Pope, (although I think the writers will make Pope n Cleo together, I won't complain btw lol they did have alot of chemistry), but at the end, Kie and JJ will work things out.
JJ will think he doesn't deserve Kie because how fucked up he is and when they finally get together, Kiara's parents won't accept JJ as Kie's boyfriend and that will be another obsticle in their relationship. When everything works out n both Kiaras parents and Pope will approve of their relationship and every problem will go away, they will go on that surftrip. We will see them happy for a little while and THEN, something will happen. They are going to break up and THAT is when a timejump will happen.
A few years will pass and we are going to see how messed up they'll become without eachother and ones they'll meet again, Kiaras parents will be against them again because of how Kiara's heart has been broken, but JJ's heart has been broken too. They will work everything out and Kiara's parents will love Kiara no matter what so they will accept JJ into their family because they will see what an amazing person he really is and that he is perfect for their daughter.
At the end of the series, we will see John B and Sarah getting married and at the wedding we will see Cleo and Pope's children and their happy family.
After that Sarah, John B, Pope, Cleo, Kiara and JJ (The pogue squad) will all gather together in JJ and Kiara's bamboo house where we will see Kiara and JJ's dog and THAT, my ladies and gentleman, is when Jiara will finally be, ENDGAME
