@@TheBlaskowitz yeah a lot of people dislike her mainly cause of the fact she was a new character that was added in the main story of p4 I can understand the hate for her, but not to the degree it has been if that makes sense :O
Also a tip on Golden Hands Early on. If you buy the elemental attack items at Shiroku Store, those deal a fixed damage of 50 regarles of resistance and the hands have only 150 HP. This means that in the first dungeon, after rescuing Chie, you can guarantee a hand kill in the first round. At the later levels these attack items remain really usefull since it allows you to easily trigger All-Out-Attacks without consuming SP and you get the single target and multi target kind. Pretty handy if you ask me, specially since later on enemies tend to repel, resist and absorb a lot of things and much more defense, though by that point you should have Megidolaon to take care of it.
A cousin of mine recommended me to try out the persona series and I’ve been enjoying it so far right now im focusing on P3R and after that thinking about playing this game sometime.

I know I’m kinda of a scrub, but I suck at JRPGs and I don’t have the most time in the world. I was still losing in the first dungeon, idk what I’m doing wrong tho. I play with bonus exp and I still feel so weak.
Usually in the beginning there is a bit of a difficulty spike if it's your first time playing, nothing wrong with playing that way if it's easier for ya hehehe Make sure your taking down as many shadows, prioritize the gold hands and use HP/SP items when necessary or if you don't have any Leave the dungeon for the day and spend a bit of time trying to level up social links or buy more items:)
ya! I want to take the training wheels off soon lol. my goal is to play P3 or P5 after this and I definitely want to play those normally and maybe just learn the ropes here. I really need to buy more items for sure. And even if I'm not here for the combat necessarily I'm really loving the characters/ slice of life mood in this game.@@Silent_Mochi
@PikaPower131313 I recomend playing 3 than 5 Depending on which version of 3 at least hwhehe And yeah definitely persona 4 is actually pretty easy once you learn the mechanics of it ;) Just keep practicing until your ready ")
I recommend taking the habit of always completing again the previous dungeon before the current one becomes available. I think that would be enough grinding and a good way to keep all the team more or less at the same level.
It's a start hehe, p5r is a great game!! And if you can I totally recommend playing p3 and p4!!! I started with classic persona 5 and I fell in love with that game and the others :)
Iirc Marie is not actually required to get the true ending, just allows you to fight an optional late game dungeon, but if I'm wrong on this one I would be pissed. Why not make her progress tied to the story then? I mean I'm maxing all Social Links anyway but damn, the true ending is already missable but to even have to lock it behind a Social Link? That's annoying, especially since I don't like tsundere characters that much anymore. I do like the "Amnesia" subplot and such, but I find annoying how much favoritism they gave the character even to the point of how overly designed it is compared to the rest main cast. I would say that it's on par with Yukiko even, but at least that one has the excuse of being one of the main cast and even the last core member of the OG Party.
@pengeybossdefinitely this dude even in P3 'cause of the mind charge. I think he has the earliest access to mind charge which definitely helps so much with the damage output.
Taotie because of Megido for golden hands shadows. Personas that learn mudo/hama skills. And Personas that learn garu and bufu skills, because Chie's and Yukiko's shadow fights. The Frost ones are good. Neko Shogun for early game is good also. And doing Margaret's quest helps too.
Question for the final dungeon. Can I get most of it done on my first day, but finish it on the 22nd? Or is it that I have to do both dungeon and boss on the same day? Because I want to get most of everything done as soon as I can, but I want to get the events for December and onward without skipping the days.
@samiullakhan9507 marie is not a party member not even in golden She's just a very important social link I recommend checking which characters you like most But my personal pick is Yosuke, chie and Teddie
@@Mr.khan2k2 If you want to destroy golden hands chie and naoto are best for bosses yukiko and kanji the third depends if magic and support is important go with teddie, if you want a jack of all trades go with yosuke

@pengeyboss good because I made sure to fuse for Jack Frost without hesitation after saving Yukiko.

Yes you can progress through as much of the dungeon as you like
Just make sure you don't fight the killer himself until the 22nd

@Averageviwer either you get rid of it during shuffle time or you fuse it in the velvet room
