Emma.. when shopping for someone who has a birthday near Christmas.. you have to go shopping specifically for Birthday one day.. and not worry about Christmas, pretend it doesn't exist... then do the same in reverse for Christmas. It's how my parents did it and taught my oldest sister and I to do it for our middle sister, who has a birthday near Christmas.. otherwise she'd never get anything for either her Birthday, or Christmas.. and that wouldn't be fair, when me and my oldest sister got a lot on both events. They never wanted her to feel left out.. and she never did.
My birthday is December 23rd. As a Christmas baby I would say go all out for the birthday & keep Christmas more simple. That’s Mark’s special day & he should feel special like everyone else. My parents always made my birthday special so I love that I was born so close to Christmas. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 everyone
