If you go to the app launcher, and choose Forms you will see all your polls listed. You can see who responded on the responses tab. Choose 'more details' for the list of who responded. And you can see how they responded with the 'view details' button. That lets you page through each response and you can see how they answered.
@@CollaborationCoach In my excel, the email column shows anonymous and the Name column is empty. Please is there a way to get the names of the responders to show?
This channel is gold. I am a teacher from Portugal and we have only just started using TEAMS because of the quarantine. Your tips have been life savers. Thank you.
Good morning, is it possible to pre arrange polls for an upcoming teams meeting so that a member can choose to open the poll at any moment instead of making it during the meeting?
Collaboration Coach, I really envy your knowledge!! To extend my knowledge...May I ask to you whether you have any possibility to find it out in any way for all who struggle with this question? Or were I could ask this question! You would very much help me (and others) thank you, Heinz (Netherlands)
Thanks for the video - however in my Channels there is no ellipsis below the Conversation-window, I only see 5 icons (Format, Attach, Emoji, Giphy and Sticker) and of course a "send"-button. Is it because creating polls in channels is not possible, only in the overall Team? Thanks in advance for your assistance here.
I think you could if a presenter shared the Teams apps, or their desktop and then post the poll. They could ask everyone to vote during the meeting and show the results.
Hi Matt, great video. I just have a question, I tried to use the poll in a meeting with more than 150 participants but I was unabled to publish it, can't recall exactly the error message but it didn't allow me to publish. I tested it before hand with 2-3 people in the call and it worked. So I am wondering if there is any limitations on the number of participants in the call to use the poll? Thank you!
These are the limits for Forms that I know of: support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/form-question-response-and-character-limits-in-microsoft-forms-ec15323d-92a4-4c33-bf88-3fdb9e5b5fea?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us
Is it possible to add multiple questions with options, so you are able to vote over multiple subjects? or would you have to make a new one after you finished the first one.. etc.
Hi Matt, Thank you for the details. Since my team has started working virtually due to the recent lockdown. I am setting up more MS TEAMS meetings and keeping the options of the poll is one way to ensure active participation. I also had the same question of extracting the results to excel, then I happened to read the comments. Thanks mate !!
is it possible to serve up a poll in the context of running a training course in MS Teams when you are screen sharing? Eg quick quizes during training. Have done in ZOom but not sure if possible to have a set of pre-loaded poll questions there and then can serve those to attendees at right time
Hi - A nicely done and helpful video. A quick question to refine this a bit: Imagine that we have an online meeting and want to only 'release' the poll at a certain time e.g. when showing a particular pptx slide. To your knowledge, is it possible to pre-prepare such a poll, have it invisible until then, to be turned on "activated" just when needed. Make sense ? Or another suggestion to make this work ?Thanks agin...
Yes you can do that, but not with this 'quick poll' method. Create the Poll in Forms before hand, then add it to your Teams channel as a tab when you're ready to share it.
@@CollaborationCoach Silly question, how would you do that? I would like to set up a poll with more than one question, be posted at a particular time and also have participants be anonymous. Is this possible and how would I add the actual poll to the channel - Really loved the video by the way 👍
Well not really but kind of - they're all stored in the groups section of the Forms app, so you can use them again. But not in the Posts section of Teams, you'd have to add it as a tab.
Hi Matt. The poll says : Results are shown to everyone. Does this mean that the students can see each other's votes? My second concern is that is there a way that I can assign a close time of votting? thank you
Great! I’m thinking of tying this in to math by creating a problem for students to solve. Is there a way for me to see who responded and whether they got it right or wrong?
I'm new to MS Teams, and tried to make a Quick Poll for testing purposes. It didn't work out correct.
