Max is only B tier cause of the TKZ knockout. Otherwise he's S+ tier. His lack of knockout ability is literally the reason he has those inhuman strike records.
He's dropped Aldo, Allen and Volk with punches, when he fights as a counter striker he can generate decent power. When he is the one pushing forward (Poirer, Ortega and Kattar) he has pillow hands.
Max has like 2nd most KO's in UFC history.

It’s very hard to get one shot slumped out KOs at that weight. He’s not Ngannou or Pav where a jab is putting you on wobbly legs but his power is way average in his real weightclasses
