I agree on the Yellow strip that everyone loves i hate and is a sore thumb!! Freekn love the dashes in the Challengers!! Ford and Chevy both had to change their gauge displays to catch up and mock the challengers!! I have a Shelby GT500 and it looks generic in comparison to yours! Damnit!

The yellow splitter guards are supposed to be removed from the dealership and that is why they are pink now. It doesnt cause damage, dodge doesnt want em on there. Personally i think the pink is awesome.

Splitter protector if you were to keep it on creates scratches all around the plastic had mine on for 1 week and made a mess out of it rocks and dirt get into the groves your on point .

Now get yourself a set of 17X11 Billet Specialties Winlites wheels with some 315 50R17 Mickey Thompson ET Street R tires on the rear and come on over to Irwindale Dragstrip and REALLY enjoy your car. Dont take it on stock tires......You will blow them off with ease.....almost uncontrollably!
Dodge should offer bright colored splitter paint as factory option. The car is designed to be slightly obnoxious, so make it even more so if you want. The same would not look good on a Mustang, but it does look good on the Challenger

Had to remove my limo tint, not because of cops, it was just to hard to see out the side windows at night. I was so glad when you took that hideous yellow splitter protector off. I cant understand why anyone leaves them on.

that's exactly why when I need an external mic, I use a Rode Video Micro. It hooks up to the port in the camera. No batteries are needed. If the camera is charged, the mic will work.

From someone who works at Dodge, PLEASE TAKE THE YELLOW GUARDS OFF. They cause more damage then the good intent they have. Rocks, dirt, and debris build up in the plastic guard and cause scratching and embedded rocks into your splitter.
Tint whatever you want I have 5% on my Durango and my windshield with 35

Yes! Great idea! I had a whole vision to wrap it in camo military style since I’m ex military and I think it looks cool but now I’m in love with the black.
@@ocmotivator theirs a military painted challenger around me and it's not as cool as would of thought. Simpler is sometimes better!

Someone near me has the F8 Green, from the pictures I thought I would like it, but in person it was a disappointment. I may go for a Granite R/T ( at my age I should be looking at a grandpa car, but I'm going through my second childhood). Gotta admit, OC knows how to live............HellCat is a beauty!
Get your markers tinted. I did it on my black hc and it looks much better
A new black widebody Redeye? Immediately, go get paint correction and full XPel, and preferably also aftermarket rock guards. Your paint will get chewed up! (And I think I can already see a few chips on the flares...)
Dope car. You know you can sell the yellow bumper guard truck on eBay for $120 bucks. I purchase mine on eBay. My dealership takes them off upon delivery. I love mine. You should get a clear vinyl wrap on the front of your car, so you don’t get any rock chips. I wish I had gotten my one. I have Little Rock chip nicks on the front of mine... My challenger is black also.
I live in the IE but I would come out there for a car meet. Set one up bud. I have no redeye but my my hellcat burns enough gas and it's my daily driver LOL

The dealer should be taking that splitter guard off at delivery if it’s such a big deal. No different than removing the plastic from the seats.
Some dealers and owners leave the yellow strip on. Not sure why. My dealer took it off before delivery of my Scat Pack. I didn’t want it anyway.
Did you keep the yellow stripe? Lol
They are push pins. You're supposed to pop the center by applying pressure and they come off in one piece instead of breaking them.

haha, Sunfoorfs used to get blown away at faster speeds. Closed. Here in Germany we have parts where we can drive faster ;). At around 120mph the closed Sunroof tendeed to open 5mm and the Air Suction was quite Intense. There were many Reports about Sunroofs being blown away. Dont know if they solved the Problem at FCA/Dodge now, but i would never buy another Challenger with a Sunroof again. Well, in Germany of course.
Yes the sunroof is available on the Redeye....I ordered it on mine, although one dealer offered to install it on one for a quick sale. Not sure how that would turn out.

Good idea keeping that yellow thing because that splitter is super low and will probably end up with some scratches or if it hits hard and chip it that yellow thing can come in handy as its a perfect fit.
Nippy Sidhu I’ve had it off for a month now and no scratches. It’s not a daily driver. And it’s not supposed to be left on the car. Not to mention it looks horrible to have a big ole banana stuck to the front of the car. Also leaving it on causes discoloration issues as well as a defined scratch all the way across the top of it. It’s not supposed to be left on.

Careful when you were holding your cleaning cloth on the ground... Small rocks can stick on the cloth from the ground and will scratch your car when you use it without you even knowing it... BTW I've started listening to your videos a few weeks back. Happy to see you will be making videos more often.

The black key feels like a heavier version of the scat pack. The red key is downright terrifying.

No. It’s definitely not carbon fiber. That would be awesome though. I couldn’t find these widebodies anywhere.

That’s hard. Funny thing is while I was on the way home from buying this I got a text from another dealer that they got the Hellcat Daytona Charger in. Had he texted earlier that day I would’ve had the same dilemma. But in the end I think I would’ve still chosen the challenger since it has such a strong retro muscle car look.

@@fallback8314 The guard is meant to be removed by the dealer. It will protect the car from scrapes in steep driveways and such, but after a while will definitely ruin the splitter.
Love the new rim option for the widebody. I might look into a set of those for my WB scat

If the front cover was red instead of yellow it would have looked cool. It's too risky to go with Limo Black windows . Cops are often looking for ANY reason to pull you over and it's a downward spiral from there, especially even if you've only had ONE drink and are legally under the limit. DUI turns into DWI. Same enormous fine.
