It’s not absurd that the SC is operating in such partisan way and that their actions are carefully arranged to benefit the Republican presidential candidate by helping him and his Lawyers with their strategy of delaying the hearing of what are clearly very strong cases that need to be finalised before the election, It is corruption. It is also anti-democratic. Isn’t it clear to all on the SC that the public should have the opportunity to be appraised of the facts before they cast their votes in November? Surely it is not in the public interest to have a criminal on the ballot, let alone, as POTUS. Surely, SCOTUS can put their partisan views and their obligations to their secret donors aside for just a moment, and consider the safety of Billions of people worldwide and into the future, and expedite justice in this instance to allow an ex president to face accountability for his own personal actions in his own personal interests, to face facts and the legal consequences of his actions before the election.

To be fair, he doesn't deserve to be a candidate at all. He's ineligible under the 14th Amendment section 3 (and would be out already, had there ever been a need to actually write a federal law on how to enforce it), and he couldn't possibly pass the security clearance check needed to do a job that requires top level security clearance - at least not until he's been exonerated in the documents case.

I am unaware of direct evidence of co-ordination with Trump's team, although her incompetent decisions seem to favor Trump...
Unfortunately it’s a slow and politicised process. The House of Representatives must first impeach her (GOP currently hold a slim majority). There would theoretically need to be evidence of “high crimes and misdemeanours” a term not clearly defined in the Constitution. The Senate conducts the trial and to convict requires a 2/3rd majority (virtually impossible given partisan lines).
Unfortunately one of the problems with having such a robust Constitution is that it’s difficult to amend (not impossible but certainly not easy). When you think back to 1787 when the Constitution was written, and when life expectancy was around 35-40 years of age, I think it’s fair to wonder whether the forefathers really put much thought into things like the implications of terms for life for Fed and Supreme Court judges. After all, their career as a judge was unlikely to exceed 10 years.
Recuse herself? She’s more likely to be kicked out for trying to put Smith in jail.

I think the reason these trials are taking more time is Trump’s attempts to delay as much as possible past the November election date with the hope he can get back in the White House. I watch you guys from Australia and admire your constant analysis of what is going on with Trump. Keep it going! I watch this because not only is democracy important for your country, but I feel it’s important for world peace! He’s dangerous and it’s frightening listening to what is happening in these court cases. What puzzles me is intelligent educated people are supporting Trump! It’s just seems so bizarre from this side of the world.
