Ahyeon is on another level at this stage of filming. She is an all rounder for sure. Voice, Rap, Dance and Visual. She is my other bias with Chiquita (and Ahyeon takes care of Chiquita in the beginning, its so cute).
There isn't much else I can say about her than she is purely amazing.
Ahyeon pronounced Ah•hyawn is the closest corrrect way to pronounce but the lazy phonetic way is Eye•yawn. She is compared a lot to Jennie from BALCKPINK since there are some similarities. The confident all-rounder. Ahyeon personality off stage is quite different than Jennie's. Other comparisons that people make is Chiquita to Lisa and Pharita to Rosé.
Also, there is a lot of Ahyeon haters out there and that is similar to Jennie. It is because she is multi-talented and is caring to the other members but YG has kept her hidden for the past few months because there is controversy around her using the "n" word while doing a rap performance at school. She did apologize but had to take it down, not sure why. She used the "ga" and not the "ger" so it is not she was using it in a racist way and if anyone knows the history and differences between the two then they would understand that the "ga" was created by the black community to be more of a brother type saying as opposed to the "ger" which is used to describe slaves. But in any case, she probably shouldn't have used it since she is not a part of the black hip-hop community. People also don't realize that just because you speak the language, doesn't mean that you fully understand the culture.
Rosé is an example of this. She speaks Korean but didn't grow up in the culture because she was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia. So she did an Instagram post to Jisoo if I remember it correctly and the Hangul (Korean Alphabet) she used was "nohhmu nohhmu" and is a term that is used to insult SK former president Noh Moo Hyun. So imagine, Rosé actually lives in Korea but didn't have an idea about the term, now look at Ahyeon that lives in Korea using a term from the US. I don't blame her for not knowing but can't stand by YG's decision to have any apology that she made taken down because they are using it to start controversy.
Ahyeon is such an all-rounder it makes the group better since she would be the balancing focus of the group. With her skills and talents, she is one of the best to be in the center position.
Ahyeon is the new Jennie. Bm is set to replace Blackpink, but I don't think they can. Just too many in BM. I really think it should have been 5 max in the group, rather had 3 or 4. However I think Ahyeon singing needs a little polish to be top. I mean she sings very well but I get the feeling she's pushing just a little too much, so sometimes it feels she is just a little too fast. As if she's hyper. If she relaxes just a little it would be perfect.
When fans called her little Jennie - she replied that jennie is her idol and inspiration and to called as Jennie is such a big honour and she wants to became a big idol like her 🤗
Obviously it’s good. But compared to her in last evaluation her singing in this is nothing. She steps it up so much. And not just in singing.
