We have an accent? -All of New Hampshire
haha! I didn't think so either! I do have a couple of friends that grew up in a southern coastal town (nearby Mass) and they do have a noticeable accent that mimics some of the Mass accent (probably because they are close to each other). And I remember going down south for vacation and they actually picked up on the fact that we were from NH because of our "accent". haha!
I'm fron NH and people say I sound like a surfer dude from California. I feel like everyone here has different "accents". I've never listened to people talk and thought they sounded similar.
I think we are the only ones who speak normally lol
The people with an accent are the transplants from Mass.
The northern granite staters sound like Mainers a little bit
Everyone has an accent. But people just don't realize it because it's what sounds normal to them. Like to english people, all americans speak in an american accent.
we nhites have an accent, just not one as famous as the boston accent (although they're related)
Just realized a few weeks ago
I just love her! She's interesting and down-to-earth.
It's been years since I've heard this great lady's voice why is she not on TV why is she not doing like a movie. The Good Person.
Check The Hot Zone, she was awesome in it.
The second season of The Morning Show was delayed because of Covid and will premiere this year.
Wth are you talking about. She stays working
Man that outfit is 🔥. Love her
Being in New Hampshire, I loved this interview! 😀
I didn't know that Jeezum Crow would be weird to other people! 😂😂 I mean, I haven't said it since I was a kid but that made me lol.
What a Wonderful Woman!
And those Shoes❣️❣️❣️
Her shoes are amazing!
She's a joy! 💜
Amazing dear you're beautiful ♥️❤️😘❤️
She is the best. I just love her so much ❤
Amazing absolute good ♥️ you're beautiful too 😍
this was a great conversation wow
Julianna is currently on Apple TV s THE MORNING SHOW with Jen Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. She 'll be on season 2 - not out just yet
From western NH. Jeezum Crow was a thing growing up. We called it the unofficial state bird. Accents where I'm from are different from the Manchester/Nashua area which gets more MA influence (flatlanders). Love accents of all kinds!
If you are from south of the nothes, you're a flatlander.
@@PaulsWanderingsI’ll take being a flatlander over living in the middle of no where
Makes me want to watch ER. She stole the scene every time on Good Wife. And aging with such grace.
That accent sounds more like Mass. haha. I live in New Hampshire and a lot of us sound more like Seth, BUT if you are on the southern coastal areas in particular (nearby Mass), then you can hear that type of twang in people's voices. haha. I have friends that grew up in a seacoast town and both of them sound a LITTLE like what they described and I lived a little more inland and I make fun of their words all the time. haha!
I also live in NH and I swear there's at least 5 distinct accents in the state. Mind you they're dying out, but they're there.
I definitely associate it with Boston/Providence! I'm from western, ma and went to college in Boston. My friends from that part of the state harp on me for not calling my mother "mum" but "mom" with more of an "a" sound. Also crazy to them that Mary/merry were pronounced the same for me growing up. A "cot" you sleep on and "caught" the ball are pronounced the same to them, and I find that crazy! -Language/dialects are so fascinating!
@@brianaschnopp4798 I grew up in N.H. and mary/merry are different pronounciations and cot/caught are the same to me.
Jeezum Crow, what a fun segment and interview....lol. I just have to say, I absolutely loved Julianna in The Mists of Avalon!
Holy sh1t! I have not heard that phrase in years!!!!
I’m literally from the border of NH and MA and i didn’t even realize there’s a NH accent
same here. she sounds like she's just doing a massachusetts accent, which i guess can be applied to nh as well
Born and raised in NH, never realized that we had an accent either! Lol However, when I traveled to NC they quickly pointed out my accent. 🤷🏻♀️😂
What a terrific outfit!
Her appearance on Scrubs was one of the TV highlights of my then-young life...
...ah, who am I kidding.
Scratch "TV“...
As a native New Englander I can attest to how confusing it can be to move to an area where a whole different dialect of the English language is spoken....which would be pretty much anyplace outside of New England! lol
No accent in CT.
I really think she can pull off a top 🎩 hat, and a cane with the outfit.
She did in Scrubs :)
I really liked her before now I'm a huge fan🤩
I love her
Bad ass shoes
finally find the reason why her voice sounds special in the good wife cuz she got England accent and im being learning that accent too
My parents 100% have made me watch ER😂
ER was just the best.
I was just watching season 6 of Sopranos where Vito is in new Hampshire so I looked up New Hampshire accent and in comes Tony's recent fling if anyone cared.
Red patent Knickers are awesome
That story of you being tahdy was wicked awesome. I have to say, you must have lived in southern New Hampshire. The White Mountains Regional School District only canceled school 3 times in my 12 years there.
Wait you went to WMRHS!!! I go there now! What a coincidence!

8:17 this one time my grandma (rip) was saying we should make samoas and i wa slike cool i love girl scout cookies and she was like "no, SAMOAS" and im like yeah samoas the girl scount cookies and after she was by the time yelling at me i realized the entire time she was literally saying SMORES.
Happy birthday julianna from italian boy live in rome
Oh hi Seth's ass. WHO KNEW HE WAS PACKING A CUTE LITTLE BIRTHDAY CAKE. 00:14
She looks great.
I said “jeezem crow” ha
@9:17 Growing up in first Massachusetts and then Maine, I never realized until I was about 30 that "wicked good" is technically an oxymoron.
I live here now and I never even considered that. Pissah.
Don't people also use "wicked" to just mean "good" ?
@@rwmorey71 True, but I think that is slightly different from the New England usage where wicked is almost a synonym for very: "wicked fast", "wicked small", "wicked loud", etc.....
@@ateamfan42 Ahh ok.
@@ateamfan42 My 6th teacher was from Cali and she never could understand the use of wicked.
Big Bird doesn't go to a vet?
I'm gonna go find a Reddit thread about this, like... right now.
Hmmm The 1st accent sounds like here in Massachusetts. Second one sounds like Maine. Wonder if she was dealing with some transplants?? NH is usually more of a softer lilt on vowels....except right by the boarders.
Lol as someone who has lived their entire life in New hampshire, I have to say the "r" dropping is not common everywhere. That's something I've come to associate with northern NH or transplants from Massachusetts.
That's true my dad is from rural NH near Concord and the only New Hampshireism I can pinpoint is dropping the g from the end of words.
@@justin.booth. TIL that's not the norm everywhere, seems so natural to pronounce something like "dropping" and "droppin"
Yeah, I've lived in Derry, NH for about 6-7 years (I'm from California) and the accent here is kind of a mix. Most people have a slight accent, but really it's not much different than my own, but there is a good chunk of people that have thick accents. One of my kids' teachers has a really thick accent. One thing that bugs me is that almost no one here can pronounce the state "Nevada" correctly LOL.😂
@@NiamhCreates I'm born and raised in NH and my brother moved to Nevada, we straight up refused to pronounce it the way he insisted 😂
@@huwfylt Nevader
How'd you get her ghost to do the interview instead?
Where is ER streaming?
NBC likely
I have been watching it on Hulu. I am in the US, so I don’t know if it is available everywhere.
Didn't she also play the ballbuster lawyer on Scrubs?
She’s fantastic on The Morning Show. ❤
My favorite actress.
I def said “jezzum crow”
Pissa cool.
won't someone ask about the good wife green screen scene
Or about why she went nuclear when being asked to do an episode or two of The Good FIght.
I've lived in Newark Hampshire since the 90's and have never heard Jeez M Crow.
New Hampshire ain't that Bostonian. It's a nice mix but you're way more likely to kick it with guys from Lowell and the North Shore.
Those shoes!
If there’s a Judge Judy biopic in the works, she could play the judge. 🤔
Hot Damn, she wore an incredible suit and stiletto combo! 😍👠
I still struggle to understand how _The Office_ became a holy object for Zillennials and Zoomers. I mean, we all had our favorite in-the-background shows but I can't recall having anything like this except maybe _Twin Peaks_ or _My So-Called Life_ but that was because we had blue balls over cancellation.
I want her shoes.
Wait is Jezum crow only a NH thing? Also, your Mrs Lombardi had a Mass accent, that isn’t NH to not pronounce R’s.
It's a New England thing. I'm from Maine and the Maine accent is similar to the Mass accent - especially the not pronouncing Rs thing.
It absolutely is, my old man does it all the time, and we used to work with a guy named "lombahdi"
The original kickers circa 1970 were made of nubuck & had crepe soles. They were much more stylish than any Timberland & SOOooo comfortable, in my opinion 😊
Don’t wear clothes for style in new hampsha
Sounds like her teacher and handyman were both from Mass. NH folks know to add the r to words
We definitely talk like that up north...
Who knew J.M. was a 116 years old? 🤣
Im from NH, I don't believe I have an accent, I'm biased. I'm from a border town tho. I've worked mostly in Mass. And in some moment take notice of the nasal 'r' (ahhh)' that comes out depending on who I'm speaking with. Other than that I think I sound like that obnoxious "cally from the valley"
She went to High Mowing. La-dee-da.
Aging celebrities are all starting to look the same to me. Particularly since quarantine. I wish they would stop, makes me sad.
At least she's not blonde. Not that I've watched it in years but earlier in quarantine I attempted Real Housewives... gave up after about 10 minutes.
Pretty sure that all real housewives are 1 person and 1 face!
Thumbnail be More like “Julianna Morghulis”....
Seriously who edited the colours on that thumbnail, look at her skin tone on this video it’s like night and day with the thumbnail they made o__O
what up g
I'm disappointment he didn't set that date up for her and Amy Poehler... Gunna have to correct yourself on that one...
Came here to say the same thing.
☝🏾umm...disappointed*
Oh but any of the authors I want to see on their virtual tours are selling tickets! So not free!
Seth grew up in new hampshire
Julianna Dohaeris

I wouldn't recognize her! Has she had a face lift that went wrong???
Yeah. A 3 year old is intrigued
dang shes a granny now
Ma è orrenda!!! Come ha fatto a ridursi così?? Oddio, bella non è mai stata,ma adesso è addirittura inguardabile!!!
Botox or surgery? She looks weird.
age does change peoples faces if you didn’t know 🤞🏼
@@sofiaprado5994 And so does botox and surgery if you didnt know. lol. Thats not the look of natural aging.
@@silentone11111111 boy she’s literally 55 what do u want from her
I really don't know who she is? You have to be an American to know it!! Even New England accent and all, I don't know where it's from! New Hamp share nothing at all!
She was very good on E.R., which was a very good show. I think it probably stands up. Check it out.
Juliana, stop dying your hair jet-black. It looks fake, it looks un-chic, it looks freakish (google for pics of classic-Hollywood-era actress Ann Miller at 60 or older), and it makes you look older than you are. Either let your natural grey show, or dye your hair a medium brown.
She looks like a mix of Barack Obama and Michael Jackson
😆 ☠️ ⚰️
Hollywood still insists women use plastic surgery while the ''practice'' of face lifts is not yet perfected. To be kind, she looks severe, but poor Helen Hunt looks like a burn victim, and Meg Ryan has been ''let down'' by the medical profession. Do I even have to mention Renee Zellweger?
Nice. Shallow values drive women to ruin their faces because getting old as a woman is unacceptable if your face is to be shown on movie screens, then ya'll make fun of said women for looking messed up.
@@SensationalBanana Those are two different sets of people. Also people should already be aware by now this type of surgery doesn't make you look younger but less human.
Mr. Seth please start dressing up for your guests. It's show biz. No more lazy work in that department so get dressed, get a band as long as they are vaccinated and bring back the pizzazz...We love your show!
I’m very ok not having to mute the fanfare (band playing and audience clapping). I just want to hear the dialogue.
She aged poor af she looks horrible!
I think she looks alright...
She looks like someone who's tried to do too much to look young and ended up looking worse. She also needs to eat more.
Crikey...get a life. Have you looked in the mirror lately
