Salam, I never thought about the vengeance for imam husein in this way, ie continuing his mission and a vengeance towards his ideology, trying to continue his mission. Jazakallah I did have a question though, how is the azaa/khidmah of ahlulbayt more important than salah?
Jazakumullahu Khaira. We’re grateful that you’ve been able to benefit from the episodes. With regards to your question; we discussed that the master title of the Khidma and Azaa’ is that of Ihya al-Amr (revival of the affair of Ahlulbayt) which all other obligations branch off. Hence, the root of all other obligations is the ‘Amr of Ahlulbayt (as) as it is the ‘Amr of Allah (swt), from this we understand that the prayer would be a branch of this root. From this perspective, enabling and enacting this root of faith and the religion - is the root obligation and therefore greater than all other obligations, whereby even the prayer would be considered to be a branch of this root concept. When we speak about Azaa’ and with relation to Khidma however from the perspective of what it is today, and how it is perceived - it is possible that this doesn’t quite reach the COMPLETE aims and objectives of Ihya’ al-Amr in terms of its greatness and significance - and this is our aim in the series; to discuss on a basic level what kind of things are constituted within this concept and understanding - whereby the discussion is of the magnitude of the obligation upon to us to revive the affair and how we must take it to the next level in addition to all of our ritualistic worship. I hope that answers your question brother. As a disclaimer, these are the words of Br. Mohamed Ali alone.
