@VisageofTruth 🤣 just do a few laps at a fast road pace. Basically slow it down to until you've learned the track. Once you learn it you'll be flying. Not sure what game you are on but take a slow car, sounds like you were doing a me and giving it race pace till you forget a corner 🤣
WOW that looks like some realllll HP and TQ and traction on the xdrive....it jus completely rips at every single turn and straight away ....WOW I love this one but yes maybe need a bit stiffer for track...I understand daily and track mix but cudnt u stiffen active dampers on track or sport+ more?....anyways coming from a stock F30 xdrive myself... WOW I'm very impressed with this build
lsd, rear and front brace, motech springs seems to do me just fine. much better in and out of corners and still nice to drive day to day. will do dampers when i start tracking it but the rwd ones are a joy to drive when you get used to it!
Good choice for comfort and performance, you will get the best of both worlds. If you want even more comfort choose the v2 comfort but the ddc ist already comfortable, mostly for daily use.
@@neil5242 Yeah, the 6 speed seems like it would be good if I ever wanted to drift it. But the ZF8 is so good and with the XHP tune, it gets a lot better.
manual is just an entirely more engaging experience. if you want speed on the track, go for the auto - just works better with grippy builds. if you want the most fun and don't find it a chore to daily, go for a manual.
I thought so too, but if you go from sport plus into dsc off, the steering gets light again and that normally means suspension soft as well because you cant control steering weight and suspension separately
Surprised to see stock m performance brakes (rotors and calipers) doing well on the ring. Whole lap. Misha, I think you skipped your leg day in the gym again. Maybe thats the reason
Did it overheat? ......edited: no, or we didn't see the temp gauge, cause the fuel gauge came on saying its out of fuel soon. it spent 20% of the tank in 1 lap, which results in avg fuel consumption of exactly 50 liters per 100km. OUCH!

1) it’s an x drive so you can forgive a bit, nothing that can’t be sorted with semi slicks and more aggressive suspension settings 2) pads aren’t expensive the RSL29s are about £250, which is peanuts considering the gain you get. I’m sure he’ll get round to it. Not like it’s not a good base to build upon idk why you’re being so negative.

In general Misha seems to prefer xdrive over sdrive …on all of these M140 he was driving he was more happy with the xdrive models

It was already on stiff setting of the KW DDC
the ddc is plug and play so I cant adjust the stiffness myself, only with the settings from the car

What is the spring rate of the Motec springs ?

Drops front by 25mm and by 20mm on rear.
I also only went for the motech stance and not the motech stance +, I drive mine as a daily so didn't want it to be too harsh.

Good choice for comfort and performance, you will get the best of both worlds. If you want even more comfort choose the v2 comfort but the ddc ist already comfortable, mostly for daily use.

More fun in manual or auto? The autos are $2-3k cheaper in the US on the used market (for the 240i).
In my opinion, the ZF 8 speed auto compliments the B58 engine better than the manual.

1:05 that's simply not true. My M140i also has adaptive suspension. In DSC off the dampers are in sport mode.

No the car is totally fine, stage 1 doesnt lead to any overheating issues even with Misha at the wheel :)

You‘ll need camber plates etc to do this
