I love your process working as it is on real time. The boho fabrics are so beautiful, I wish I had a stock like that. Your cover is looking yummy. Looking forward to the part 2. Have a lovely weekend dear Tina!
Love how you went shopping around your house. I made a boho journal as a gift. It is one of the few videos I have on my channel. It was a lot of fun to make. I am looking forward to watching yours come together.
I am in process of gathering supplies for my first Boho junk journal. You have inspired me so much. I can't wait to get started. Now trying to find your 2nd video. I'll keep looking. LOVE HOW YOU WORK!!!!!! Ism Debbie E and from Texas!!!!!
Hello Tina I just found your channel and enjoyed your work and way of showing the way you do things so naturally I like the way you think too about sorting your stash to make room for new goodies I donate mine to local High school most of us collect too much it's hard not too when we just love crafting I have subscribed to see more 😊 😀 ❤
Have just started watching you...I came across you whilst searching for ideas for a boho gypsy journal.. I am binge watching all of the videos...lol....I think that your journal turned out absolutely stunning....Thankyou for sharing your ideas...I only wish I had the abundance of stuff that you have got lol...I've only been doing this for a few months...have successfully made 4 journals so far...they were for friends and family...this next one is for myself and I want all of that colour and lusciousness...Take care stay safe...I'm off to continue my binge watching...xx
Tina, this looks great so far. I can't wait to see how it turns out! I wanted to mention a couple of places that might help you if you ever need to find supplies for boho style journals or tutorials with tips on making them. On Etsy, you might try (if you don't know about them already), Victorian Gypsy Girl and Vienna Delight for sari silks and trim. On UA-cam, try RoxyCreations for tutorials. Rachel is a great seamstress and she just did a video on making a cover for a boho journal a couple of days ago. Also, a place for gorgeous boho papers on Etsy is Medieval Mirage. Gorgeous kits, worth every penny! As for the borderless printing.... I used to have the same problem. If I keep my printing set on 'Plain paper' it won't do a borderless print. BUT... If I set it for Professional Brochure Matte paper (or something similar) and make sure the borderless option is turned on, it works!! I stumbled upon that one by accident. I hope this helps. Take care, Tina!
I have so wanted to make a Boho journal, so am going to enjoy this series immensely. Loving this cover so far. I agree with your comments about Artymaze digitals. Stay safe. 🐦🐦
I love that valance! I would hang that at a window in one of my rooms!! The fabrics from the gold pillows are my favorite but you have to do what you like. You do you!
It doesn’t really go with any thing in my house. Yes the pillows were pretty that’s why I bought them to begin with but I changed everything last year to a lighter more casual look so I don’t need them anymore.
That is what I go through every time I make something, even a simple single color card. I really like that blue/teal scarf that you used,so pretty and the paisley fabric too. I wasn't quite sure what BOHO was so I looked it up. I was surprised when it did look like the 60s hippie. I guess I was boho in my later teen years. When you finished cutting pieces for the cover, it looked like you had taken a squares from my crazy quilt. If I make something boho, I wont need to keep reminding myself that 'less is more' ; my research told my that boho thinking is 'more is more'. Can't wait for the rest of the BOHO series.
Hey I am new to your channel and these BOHO journal and ephemera video's and just heard you say you are in Texas. Me too!! I am in Dallas Texas! Technically I am in Rowlett! I am new to Texas and am actually from Seattle WA area!! Talk about a weather change for me! LOL Anyways I am loving your artistic style...Thanks for sharing your gifts and talents with us all because you inspire me!
Hi, i am a new subbie 😊 i am so glad i found you. i have been looking at some of your journals, and they are so beautiful. Thank you for this beginner tutorial for making a journal as a new crafter. This is so useful to me tfs ❤ alison
I am not sure which papers your talking about but I mostly use this Southworth Parchment Paper, 8.5" x 11", 24 lb/90 gsm, Ivory, 500 sheets - Packaging May Vary (984C) a.co/d/0O1EWK0
Boho means so many things to every single person. I love to see what everyone's interpretation of boho means. Super fun to watch you make decisions- because I do the same thing- does this look right, should I audition this piece- etc. LOL I have never done a boho journal either- too many decisions since I have been hoarding things for over a year to play with when I finally decide to make one---and I am keeping it for myself, for sure!! LOL Maybe make another to sell at the same time- who knows. There is a ton of work that goes into any boho journal. Love the way you are starting out with yours. Excited for the series!! Thanks so much for explaining your process and for bringing us along!!
I enjoyed watching your process. I never take this kind of time to just mix and match until you get the right color and texture combos! I need to be a bit more disciplined and take more time to develop my thoughts. I think you did good with your fabrics, didn’t need to go to the store after all!
Creative overload..so fun
You are the best teacher!!!! I love all your videos!

Yes I bet lots of times we can shop in our house and make do. But what’s the fun in that 😂
I said before we don’t have a dollar store but we do have a “2 dollar” shop here and there but no good stuff
