I think the problem is Keemstar is labelling it as an apology video, when if you actually watch the video its not. It's been said a few times before that ksi and deji are now on good terms so I think its wrong to label this video as the official apology video to his brother. If you watch the video its clearly to spread a message about mental health and also him being retrospective on mistakes hes made in the past

I am (surprisingly) leaning more towards what Keemstar is saying. If you fall out with a sibling and you want to heal things I'd say do it face to face if possible, if not and you're making a YT "sorry" video to said sibling and have a sponsor on that video, it does appear that the motivation behind trying to make amends isn't as sincere as it would if it was a simple, straight to the point video. The most important thing should be healing the relationship, not making money out of doing so.
But the way I see it is the charity is about mental health, and he spoke about how that situation affected his mental health, I don’t see why you’re not allowed to talk about what’s affected you mentally when the problem also seems to be resolved behind closed doors. This is a whole lot of mess over nothing because regardless on whatever video he was going to make, he was still going to be paid the same amount of money from the charity so why not make a personal video?
The thing with sponsorships is you get more money based on views so an apology brings in more views which equals more money.

keem assumes he puts a “sponsor” on an apology video, when its the opposite since the video IS the advertisement and he just apologize in it (he has already apologized to his brother before this).
so instead it ends up as keem attacking someone for promoting mental health issues etc.
what other people think is that he made an “apology video” with a sponsor in it and that getting paid from it makes the “apology video” less relevant, 1. the video itself was the advertisement, not an apology, he used himself as an example for what the advertisement was about (which is mens mental health etc), 2. he has already apologized before this, 3. you can’t turn it around and say it was an apology video with a sponsor in it, if that was case he could’ve easily titled it “apologizing to my bro” or anything and it would’ve gotten way more views which would’ve got him way more money.
