I think the movie Lucas was thinking of was the Hong Kong movie A Better Tomorrow, the rendition starring Anita Mui, there’s the pulling up the helicopter part that he mentions in the finale and the female lead (badass af) is the subordinate of a Vietnamese crime lord and the male lead is named... Mark Lee HAHAHA it’s a great movie and if that’s the one he had in mind I’d say his drama pays a pretty good homage to the genre :D

@@herrrrrrr_ Ok it's been I while since I've watched this so I might be wrong, but from what I understand they were supposed to make clips and whomever had the most romantic clip (the staff judged) would win the challenge. So you can really see how different everyone's perception of love was. It was for fun tho like they just wanted to win 😂

Like one one of them, I think it was Mark, said that he wanted to do something like being a waiter so the company made it part of the show. The same thing happened with the clips. A few of them thought it would be cool so the company set it up. Is that what u meant?
