Yes they are Detonators, they warn the driver of an obstruction, or entering a Engineers track Possession. ie,,, line closed to traffic. The big Yello tilting flat wagons are PAD wagons. Pre Assembly Depot,,, sections of track put together elsewhere, then dropped in by Track Layer/Crane. The 56s can often be seen Sunbathing over at Coleham depot. Opposite Asda, behind the vets. Can just see my old gang cabin, opposite the Big box, almost covered by the Budlea bushes. Great view of Castle Fields footbridge and The Dana . Great little vid mate . 😁👍👍😎😎 Oh yeah,, under the bridge is a class70.
Mate just take your kid up the line , then back again. Then take another train some where. . Its just as fun as train spotting . Lovley vid all the same . I enjoyed without knowing commuter class BR trains .
The 196s are West Midlands railway ones and come in 2 and 4 car sets. There are 12 2 car units and 14 4 car units. And the 197s are transport for wales and come in 2 and 3 car sets. There are 51 2 car sets and 26 3 car sets.
The 196’s are runned for West Midlands and the 197’s run for TFW only and the 2 both are brothers as its planned that the 197’s will replace the 158’s I would say around mid next year or this year they will be replaced
