Once you finished 5 juz, revise those 5 juz everyday after you've given your 2 pages to your parent/guardian. That is the only way to memorise the Quran efficiently

I've met Salah Bukhatir (he's the owner of the school I graduated in Sharjah, UAE) and he used a very similar method. He gave a speech at the school on how to effectively memorize the Qur'an. He started memorizing at the age of 22 or 23, and at that point all he knew was the last 2 juz (amma and tabarak) because during his studies in a university in America, he would listen to those 2 juz every day and he memorized them just by listening. Once he returned to the UAE, the people in his area made him lead the prayer in the masjid during Ramadan because they liked the way he recited, and he felt embarrassed to be leading huffadh of the Qur'an while he himself only knew 2 juz. He went on umrah and made du'aa for Allah to make it easy for him to memorize the Qur'an, and when he came back he started reading surah al baqarah, and he realized he already knew the first few pages by heart because he would listen to them so many times. He kept on going, and eventually he memorized surah al baqarah. His methodology is as follows: Listen to the page you plan to memorize over and over Read the page yourself a few times Read the tafsir of the page (or translation for non Arabs; in fact, that's the method non Arabs in Madinah University use to learn Arabic, and it's how I learned Arabic as well) Read the page 3 times, then try to read it by heart. As soon as you make a mistake, look at the page and don't allow yourself to be stuck thinking After that, read the page 3 more times and again try to read it by heart Keep doing that until you have memorized the page Note: you may be tempted to stop repeating the entire page if you don't make mistakes in certain ayahs; however, keep repeating the entire page even if you come to a point where you have just one mistake on that page. After a while, he started memorizing quicker, and could do 2-3 pages per day, and eventually came to 10 pages per day (half a juz per day). This year I decided to memorize 12 surahs. In January I completed the surah rehman alhamdulillah. this is a great way to memorize 12 surahs in 12 months. Start with a short surah then if you are comfortable memorizing then try to learn large surahs.

Im 37 and started listening to Qur'an, not with intention to memorise but just to be good and somehow i just started to remember. Now i want to know and remember more. I am also trying to teach my 10 year old son. What helps me is just by listening to the audio all day as i am cleaning the house or going about my day. Do this every day, i am telling you it works. English is my first language and i don't understand Arabic but i make a point of learning the story of the surah i am trying to learn. It is good to recite with tajweed and a melody. You will just start to remember what the meaning of each ayah is, its amazing. So far I only know some parts of Qur'an, will keep trying. I never thought my brain would be able to remember as i sometimes dont even remember what I ate for supper the night before! May ALLAH help us to remember, ameen 🤲🏼🙂

I dnno if someone needs this but a tip for u if u want to memorize Qur'an. If u have a teacher/hafiz, he plays a big part in your journey. If u think your teacher isn't as good, try to find someone else. Don't let any of your time go to waste.

Even if you find it hard to memorize, just read - Understand the meanings of the ayahs. That will give you a greater relationship with Allah, give you more reward, and help you memorize in chronological order of ayahs - Technique to memorize: Read 1 ayah out loud 10 times Read the 2nd ayah 10 times Read all the ayahs you just memorized 3 times and repeat for other ayahs Read the page again 20 times

Secondly, there a thousands of people who know the Arabic grammar and they don't memorize it. Am telling you with experience. I came from a country that is far from the Arab world, I later travel to an Arab country to study. My teachers knew grammar but don't memorize the Quran. Please check the title of the video

Brother, i'f i may suggest, try also to understand and memorize the meaning word per word, do it while trying to memorize the verse in arabic. In my case, it suits me better.

I have seen number of hafiz-e-Qur'an, I must say that Masha'Allah they have done such a great thing in their life but I think the greatest person is one who memorized the Quran with translation and tafseer rather than just memorize the Quran in Arabic only. And memorizing the Qur'an with translation and tafseer helps him/her to live life like ALLAH ﷻ wants and also it will help them on the Day of Judgement, In Shaa Allah. May ALLAH ﷻ help all of us to learn, memorize and understand the Qur'an, Aameen wa Summa Aameen ya Rabbul Alamin 🤲🏻.
There is a Quran Learning Centre in West Java, Indonesia and I am curious as to its methodology given to its students. They have reciters as young as 3 and as old as in their 70's there. Anyone can be part of their Quran learning community. The center is very modern and very famous due to their principal who is called Uztadz Adi Hidayat who had studied in Libya for many years and returned to create this Quran Centre. Their method of Huffaz have stories that are incredible. There was one lady in her 40's who went there to become a student and ended up memorizing and finishing it within 3 months more or less. The place are is called Betawi, Jawa Barat.
I am 85 ye old and I read quran every day either on the morning or eve I am proud to say that I have 2 grand children who are both huffaz of the quran If u read quran with an open mind with its meaning and ponder over it u will realise that it is a divine revelation and it can only be Allah's mercy guidance healing and a blessing for humans Please make s short for all the huffs in the whole universe both humans and possibly the Muslim jinns Aameen Jazakallahu khair

Alhamdulillah memorised the quran at 10. My parents took me out of school mid year in Grade. Best descision ever.
I am doing hifz I'm 11 and I have memorize 3 juzz in my school we have eight periods but we have only three study periods and 5 quran periods

If u have a teacher/hafiz, he plays a big part in your journey. If u think your teacher isn't as good, try to find someone else. Don't let any of your time go to waste.

- Listen to the Quran/verses you are trying to memorize whenever possible, such as when walking
- Make a time everyday to review and read the Quran. Even if you find it hard to memorize, just read
- Understand the meanings of the ayahs. That will give you a greater relationship with Allah, give you more reward, and help you memorize in chronological order of ayahs
- Technique to memorize:
Read 1 ayah out loud 10 times
Read the 2nd ayah 10 times
Read all the ayahs you just memorized 3 times and repeat for other ayahs
Read the page again 20 times
Learn Nahwu Shorof and it help a lot

@@ariturbo4094 I totally disagree with you. I memorize a quarter of it in the early days of the journey when I knew nothing. Secondly, there a thousands of people who know the Arabic grammar and they don't memorize it. Am telling you with experience. I came from a country that is far from the Arab world, I later travel to an Arab country to study. My teachers knew grammar but don't memorize the Quran.

Alhamdullilah. I was doing this methods without realizing actually. No wonder I could to memorized it easily. What I discovered about yours is that it is more specific, like repeating 10x and 3x and recite without looking etc.. May Allah bless all of us.

Brother, i'f i may suggest, try also to understand and memorize the meaning word per word, do it while trying to memorize the verse in arabic. In my case, it suits me better.

I have seen number of hafiz-e-Qur'an, I must say that Masha'Allah they have done such a great thing in their life but I think the greatest person is one who memorized the Quran with translation and tafseer rather than just memorize the Quran in Arabic only. And memorizing the Qur'an with translation and tafseer helps him/her to live life like ALLAH ﷻ wants and also it will help them on the Day of Judgement, In Shaa Allah. May ALLAH ﷻ help all of us to learn, memorize and understand the Qur'an, Aameen wa Summa Aameen ya Rabbul Alamin 🤲🏻.
There is a Quran Learning Centre in West Java, Indonesia and I am curious as to its methodology given to its students. They have reciters as young as 3 and as old as in their 70's there.
Anyone can be part of their Quran learning community. The center is very modern and very famous due to their principal who is called Uztadz Adi Hidayat who had studied in Libya for many years and returned to create this Quran Centre. Their method of Huffaz have stories that are incredible. There was one lady in her 40's who went there to become a student and ended up memorizing and finishing it within 3 months more or less.
The place are is called Betawi, Jawa Barat.

I am 85 ye old and I read quran every day either on the morning or eve
I am proud to say that I have 2 grand children who are both huffaz of the quran
If u read quran with an open mind with its meaning and ponder over it u will realise that it is a divine revelation and it can only be Allah's mercy guidance healing and a blessing for humans
Please make s short for all the huffs in the whole universe both humans and possibly the Muslim jinns
