The band was very drunk by the end of the show.
Sound problems, combined the band's drunkenness, resulted in false starts of "Sliver" a • Video nd "In Bloom."
Kurt threw his guitar down, then started destroying the set after just one verse of "Negative Creep." • Video After extensive destruction, Kurt got into a fight with people from the venue, but the fight was promptly broken up.

They were all on mushrooms during this. This whole concert is actually godly. One of their best performances.

This show had the best live version of "About a Girl", and "Negative Creep" was insanely dope, i wish Kurt had picked the guitar back up and continued the song.

Apparently Kurt was tripping on quite a lot of mushrooms this show, I don't know if its true but at some points when he's stood still looking around and gently rocking back and forth it seems believable

Weird how people think died in a weird dumb way but how many of us die old working the same job making about the same money seeing the same shit over and over. Not every job is boring and dead but they make people go through so much college and crap to get a decent job and security. Kurt may be a junkie in other peoples eyes but to me he did literally everything he said he wanted. He wanted a good band, tour the world, make some good records, whether drug addiction worsened the situations or not he did everything he imagined. Some people have drug problems in a cubicle or at McDonald's, Kurt had his being a famous artist. Kurt brought alot of justice and awareness on how the industry works, such a thought people are inspired by his music but not his will power to speak up to the big wig industry players. His power to me came in his willingness to do whatever he wanted and when he wanted, then the music comes to me

I have this concert vcd not too long ago. Kurt Cobain could not hold patience due to distortion pedal and hit Dave Grohl and the concert was canceled and Dave Grohl went to the kurt microphone and apologized to the audience for the concert can not be forwarded

Just out of curiosity what's the basis for the fact that he is drunk? I know he drank and it wasn't well documented, so he was probably drinking at a lot of concerts but it seems to be everyone marc this one as drunk. He often would mumble lyrics, the solo to this would often be different, it's not unlike a guitarist to drop a pic it's quite common actually. So really what is the basis here for this being the only video marked him being drunk? what makes it such a big deal I guess is my real question. it doesn't seem like a really bad performance or anything other than the beginning but he was having trouble hearing through the monitors is what I believe was going on
If you listen to the whole show with the banter, they do sound inebriated.
