- The fifth generation fighter jet developed by Türkiye, KAAN, is better than the F-35 made by the US. This was stated by the CEO of Turkish Aerospace Industries Temel Kotil. For information, Turkish Aerospace Industries is the main contractor developing KAAN.

It is certain that they followed a certain plan. They successfully started the TF6000 engine. They began testing their own AESA radars on land, at sea and in the air. They did not have air defense systems. They were completely dependent on outside. As far as I can see, they are about to complete short, medium and long air defense systems at Nato standards. F-35s readiness to fight is only 29%. Turkey is using its existing F-16 jets with more than 80% readiness and much more cost effective than USA !
Block 1 fighter jets are planned to be delivered as the 4.5th generation in 2028. With later improvements, Block 2 jets will be produced as the 5th generation. It is wrong to compare F-35 and Kaan. Because they are in different segments.

How many of the KAAN have been produced? Don't be naive, I'm not against the KAAN it's just way too early to compare. Any comparison is a fantasy.
