For those who want local syncing, do you recommend syncing a SharePoint folder or library directly to the desktop, or do you recommend adding a shortcut to OneDrive instead (which would appear locally as well)? Thank you!
To be honest, there is no difference. It is just about user experience and having the library appear within OneDrive or as a separate entry in Windows Explorer. The same Sync limits still apply.
@@SharePointMaven It’s not the same actually. If you sync a document library you have those folders/files local on that machine. If you add a shortcut to OneDrive then you have them everywhere you sign with your credentials into OneDrive. Also Microsoft recommends to use shortcuts instead of syncing your document library straightforward to your machine.
