There is a Canadian show called Slings and Arrows that I think you would absolutely love. It follows the trials and tribulations of a struggling theater company. Three seasons long, each centering on a Shakespeare play. You will weep with happiness again and again.
omg, i would genuinely love it if you were to breakdown the side characters in relation to shakespeare's creations😭✨ but yes, if we were villains is just so relieving for my shakespeare heart🤡
Love this one, your description of the feeling you get when you come across that special book that feels like it was made just for you ,is awesome. For me it’s The Stand fby Stephen King, I’ve read it multiple times and listened to the audiobook as well. I wish that I could read it for the first time all over again. Great video! 😊
all good. however. one small detail, if ye permit, sire - THERE IS NO CONFLICT. villain is villanousfor reasons that escape, most probably, even him. all the others are tortured on the grounds as mysterious and unexplored as the closet the main two are in. they are all driven by, not internal, alas, not even external, conflict, but by some light-as-air fever dream of the author's whimsy. as such, the tale might be beautiful at times, but it's empty, like james' casket, teehee.
That's funny - a few days ago I saw: tier ranking every Shakespeare play I've read by * e m m i e * and now this. Should I come back to Shakespeare? I've read only Hamlet and Macbeth many years ago, at school.
I don't like Shakespeare. At all. Despite I'm in faculty of English language and literature, I'm cold to English bard. But! I like «If we were villains». It's fantastic book! And as characters are obsessed with Shakespeare and I like these characters, I accept my fate: I will read Shakespeare and I will try to look at his works through characters' eyes. So yeah, this book is for Shakespeare lovers. However, if you want to understand others love to Shakespeare, this book is also must have, must read❤

"its a Shakespearean fans wet drxxm" 😂 damn haven't heard that one yet
I love the drama… bring it! 😃
You should write. (Unless you’re doing so) you make being in front of a camera look so easy. Kudos.
What a compliment, thank you! My first book is actually coming out later this year (currently working on a second) so stay tuned! ✨
