"Why don't they just remaster Battlefield 4?" The playerbase asks this constantly. It and Battlefield 1 are the best games in the series, and some of the most enjoyable games in the genre, although there's always weapons that are 'statistically better' that end up being too popular after a while.
Land mine kills even 1-2 a match means you didn't have to waste 5 rockets killing the damn thing and you saved lives inadvertently. B-TIER.
Shotguns will always be busted. If you make a game with guns, and the shotguns don't dominate, then you've genuinely made your game wrong.

Ether that, or your game has a sniper rifle in it and it took that throne via *brutal* conquest, I’m not talking about regular conquest, I’m talking about the “burn homes, kill kids, rape women.” kind of brutal conquest with my comparison.
I mean seriously, why do sniper rifles keep showing up in shooters when almost nobody, and definitely nobody that any big company has cared to take inspiration from, can balance sniper weapons properly without the maps and skill “investment” hard carrying the false perception of balance the sniper rifles have had for a decade up until recently.
I’ll tell you why, money. Because people who think they’re better than they actually are and are egotistical about it will spend so much money to try to even come close to their self image of being a shooter savant, whether that money goes into in game advantages or cosmetics that they think make themselves look intimidating and cool, they will shill out a fuck ton of money ether way. And they aren’t even a minority in the shooter audience (unless you have a stick up your ass and use the most literal definition of the word “minority”, then they are in fact a minority.), these assholes are in every lobby at one point in the match, like the “Sith at home: all of the nazi, none of the super powers or combat expertise edition”s they are, they’re usually found in pairs but are sometimes found alone. This (all but outright proven by a peer reviewed study) fact alone proves how they are seen as an ideal player type to try and -groom- appeal to for money.
