    Great video. You think those are good motors , you should check out a Steve Neu 1527 or 1530 motor. WAY more efficient... and expensive lol.

      Yep, great motors. Started using these back around 2007 when racing boats. The relationship Castle has with Neu is how these green motors got started.
      Although the Neu motors are Beastly too, they aren't marketed to the RC Car Speed Run folks. (seems like the high RPM limit is what the market craves) I'm assuming this is why the request made for this comparison video was to compare the motors in the video rather than the high end motors.

      @RCexplained I see. I didn't know someone requested a comparison. I like the 1721, but it doesn't have the braking power that TP or Neu has, In cars anyway. Not sure about boats.

      I hear Cordova brushless motors are the most powerful rc motors in the world

      @@acourtneylawson2065 I would say lmt lehner for the absolute highest wattage. Cordova are very very nice.

    Awesome video and thanks for doing it.
    It would be good to see some sort of a performance test comparison between these two motors to get an idea of how they will perform in the real world.
    Keep up the great work👍

    Thanks for showing the inside! I thought my rotor was split in half with that line in the middle of the rotor

      I just made a video about a new TP motor that actually was defective so I’m going to share it! The return policy is VERY STRICT and is only a 7 day window! So take this video wisely👉 ua-cam.com/video/cheU-HHe16c/v-deo.html

    You need to talk about the smaller shaft and rear bearing on the castle. It’s a problem

    Great video bro, i was just wondering if I could use a brushed servo in my ARRMA granite v3 3s?? I think that i saw a guy use a brushed servo on his ARRMA granite v3 3s. But ir doesn't hurt to get a 2nd opinion.

      I used a brushed servo for steering in all of my RC's.

    You compared the same spec motors. But you didn't compare motors that have the same size can. As the tp one of the same size is more powerful. Also the fact that they drill to balance the rotors is more accurate than just adding some epoxy. Which epoxy has a chance to fall off especially from expansion and contraction of the metal due to heat. Not to mention on a basher with lots of crashing or jumping.

    lehner motors are quite good aswell, the 30100 can go up to 40kW

      @@RCexplained it would be cool to compare these tppower and castle motors to the coreless lehner motors, i want to understand how the Lehner coreless motors can develop the same tork without an iron core that amplifies a lot the magnetic induction in the windings,

    • @press4258
      @press4258 2 роки тому

      Lehner motors are very expensive!!and mines lasted 3 weeks and they didn’t even honor the warranty that supposed to be 2 yrs

      @timt8029 Рік тому

      I've never tested another motor as smooth as the Lehner motors. The kv doesn't jump around at all.

    • @timt8029
      @timt8029 Рік тому

      @@ralphreiter4228 I can tell you this, lehner motors are packed in very tight. Rotors are larger diameter for the can size. Also alot of winding strands. They are very heavy motors for their size.
