I watched this video a while back when I thought my grey (I've had him for four months at this point) would never sit. I now have a beautiful enthusiastic sit, a lovely recall + sit, and am working on 'close' heelwork position with sit. Not for any reason other than working with him. Thank you for your tips - they made all the difference.
This is great, my saluki x greyhound is a rare treat of a dog that was easier to train than the hounds I've previously had as fosters, but I wish I saw this video a year or two ago! What I love most is the information given, especially about how sit is difficult for sighthounds-- I knew this but now I know why! Great videos and can't wait to watch more
Thank you! I've been tirelessly working for duration on a down with my gh and getting nowhere. She needs a duration down for her therapy dog certification. I'll be trying your method now. Thank you so much! I'm delighted I found your channel.
This was the video I used to teach my girl how to sit :) she’s an ex racer. I am not sure how to get her to learn how to stay and how to get her “come” command stronger - looking forward to more videos!
I have a 15 months old greyhound and she’s lovely girl but I have problem with her to stay home alone . She’s start crying when very loud when I leave the house . Do you know what I can do to stop her crying . I can’t live her alone even for 10 min bcs she’s start breaking the bed or blanket
Hi Sandra thank you for you question. Separation anxiety is a common problem but curable. We'll make a video soon what to do so please stay tuned on our channel!
This video had Benny able to do down and sit almost immediately! I wouldn't have thought of the blanket thing in a million years. Rachel is the BEST!
I too have a Greyhound named Benny! He looks almost identical to this one in the video!
I love greyhounds so much 😭

Thank you for your training videos I know these are just the basics but greyhounds are different

Yay! I love this! Henry is very clever!
Really useful video. Would love to see how to teach a release cue.
Love it. and thanks for the information that it is hard to sit for greys cause auf the muscles.

Great job Henry! Thanks for the tips 😀
This is so helpful! Thank you so much! 🤍
Is it possible for you to make a recall training video if you haven’t made one already?
The recall training video will be on our channel most likely within the next 3 month, please stay tuned:)
This has been super helpful!
We're hoping to adopt an ex racer soon so can't wait to see more of these!
Where can I see more of this ladies training please?
Check out our new training video with Rachel: Recall training!
greyhounds can be conditioned to do that on a wooden floor
