@@Grievance_Studies_Affair_2018 behind the park brake button, remove that panel cover carefully and that’s the last screw. Please see the video before I take off the whole console module
@abongruelo3274 I'm thinking about getting the 3.0 v6 but I hear this is a common expensive problem! How much is it? My mechanic did the turbos in the Land rover which has the same engine. He said that was a body off, cost £5000!
You can order genuine from Jaguar much better but a bit expensive. Someone can do repair for a bit cheaper. No need to program or calibrate the new one
Hi Abong, Thank you for your video it was helpful. I have the problem where gear selector remains down. If I buy a used working unit from the same model jaguar XF, will it work on my car without needing to be programmed/coded? Just plug and play?

Where did you get your gear shifter and did you have to program or calibrate before the install?
