Newell Automatic Bottom Batten Feeder Strapping System

We designed this system to automatically feed bottom battens into a standard side seal strapping machine. Newell built the conveyors, the batten feeding system, and the controls. The system will end up strapping loads two or three times, based upon length, adding a bottom batten with each strap. We put the Signode MH-11/16HT side seal strapping machine on tracks with an air cylinder to move against the load to ensure a tight strap.
