Being completely lost in space he slowly goes insane which would explain the swirling graphics, faces on planets, paper airplanes, and the slot machine that fox thinks was real and was an enemy. Also the fact that this song is based off of the song "Voices of Spring" is just really sad and creepy. You'll never get to see grass, birds, or the blue sky again.

The entire concept of this secret has always creeped me the fuck out. Like, in a timeline where Fox came face to face with that bird, he entered a wormhole and was drifted far away from everyone into a black hole where he couldn't possibly escape from. There's no way to leave except by hard-resetting, and the game hits you with "THE END" too. Fox is doomed. Star Fox is doomed, the Lylat system is doomed and Andross wins.
