The first one wasn’t family. He was a teacher that went to the military and all the students that hugged him were the students he taught before he left.
Ge didn't go into the military as a teacher but rather he was in the reserves and got deployed during the school year for a few months.
Regardless of why he was in the military, he received a proper welcome from his students

people in the military are stationed away from family members for years regardless of weather or not we’re at war
I was on a carrier. Never got shot at or anything, but I was away from home, far away, for the first time. When I got back, I got this sort of reception. Difference was, I wasn't expecting the hysteria. I came out of the airport, and my family rushed me.
Point being, when you enlist, you're miles and miles away, for extended periods of time. Sometimes, you're even in danger. Your people miss you and they're overjoyed, to see you back.
Guess you’ve never served so you wouldn’t understand
Its not the same, it shouldnt be done like this unless they are returning from a war. You dont see people doing this for other professions when they dont see a family member for a year or two. Only military. They arent the only people that go away from family for long stretches of time. Just stop the cringe videos. Thanks

My dad was a soldier and he surprisingly me at school because my school was sitting down saying u.s and when my dad came my friend look at me also my teacher and my dad said come and I ran to him crying and everyone was clapping and one of my classmates was kinda shocked
