SWoW really is a great game! For twenty years I hoped to find a game similar to Risk, but lasted for a reasonable amount of time and was not awfully based on luck (because let's face it: Risk was ok 20 years ago, but not it's just terrible). I found that in Small World of Warcraft! :D

Check out Spheres of Influence: Struggle for Global Supremacy. There should be a new updated V2 Kickstarter eventually, it's such an amazing game!
