Anya’s unique voice is just undescribable. She has this low but not too low voice and clean. If she practice to hit notes perfectly (especially high note). If one day she has original song and someone said it’s from famous JP band singer, I’ll believe that 100%

Out of all Phony covers out there, this one has lots of raw emotionally charged singing.
As much as Suisei's version is more technically refined & prolly what others would say as the best - Anya's cover for me is the gold standard even outside Hololive.
Anya's voice & singing really brings out the meaning in this song . Almost like she wrote it herself!
I agree, Suisei does an amazing work working on the sounds for her songs, her Phony cover is so good, but regarding the vocals I prefer Anya's version, the color of her voice. Anya's been picking good songs in that matter, I hope she does more Karaoke streams.

It was definitely good but if we're considering the most underrated one even outside hololive, i'd say Millie Parfait takes the crown. Her cover is filled with just as much, if not, much more emotions and not to mention, a wide range of vocals. Hers is definitely no. 1 in my case but we all have our opinion and we can all agree they are all good in their own way
@@sadchild5865 I myself mostly watch hololive and already heard millie's cover which is an absolute banger but chima in my opinion is still the best. Anya's cover still tops hololive phony covers for me tho.
I'm not a Holo or Vtuber fan but I just like listening to covers on YT. I personally think Anya's ver is my favorite because of her voice, her high notes, and some vocal fry(?) sounded like she's crying, breaking down and feeling betrayed; which fits the song really well. Suisei's is good too and I love her deep voice, though personally, her cover gives a different vibe with a more depressing, melancholic tone that accepted her lonely fate. They're both great, just different vibes and preferences.

Feels really Anya-esque, like the voice doesn't sound like it got spat out of a computer. Her voice imo has the potential to be a really powerful one.
I mean, the vocals are filtered, though that's for stylistic reasons. 😅 It was a great cover and I hope we'll get a lot more. 🥰

Just wanna say that after I listened to a bunch of other older and newer Phony covers so far, your version is still my favorite. I won't say that yours is the best since everyone's taste is different and I'm not a music expert. But for me, your cover is the one that make me feel something. Like, I can feel the spirit (or should I say soul?) in your cover which is lacking in other covers. Others might have more skills and techniques, but yours is still uniquely stand out. Like most already said, I also think that this song is so perfectly fit with your vocal character and you successfully grasp it. Good job, Anya!
