hey mate im doing paper 1 on tuesday as well. i recommend you do some work on biological explanations and treatments for ocd and behavioural explanations and treatments for phobias, there is likely going to be an 8 or 16 marker on one of these, i also recommend learning the definitions of abnormalities and a strength and limitation for each one, for example deviation from ideal mental health is limited by the fact that its criteria is unrealistic for many people. id recommend learning the multi store memory model and the working memory model, comparing the differences between them and working on some application questions for them. also for memory learn tasks in the cognitive interview such as contextual reinstatement, recall in a different order, report everything etc. That covers 2/4 topics let me know if you want anymore advice
@@redroses4679 for RM i dont have much advice, im not focussing on that right now and just gonna hope the questions on it are easy aha. for social influence i would say learn the explanations of obedience- agency theory, legitimate authority and authoritarian personality. also learn the resistances to social influence (social support and locus of control). learn how a minority can influence a majority, what factors they need to do this (flexibility, commitment and constiency) finally for social influence learn milgrams study and its variations and evaluate it as well, studies like bickman and nemeth are good for evaluation. for attachment im not that sure to be honest theres a lot and i havent spent much time on it, i would say learn the strange sitution off by heart and learn to evaluate it with other studies like Kohlnbergs meta analyssis of cross cultural repeats. id also spend some time on bowlbys different theories and how to apply them to a character. this video link is to a 45 minute video going over the paper 1 advanced info and is pretty good ua-cam.com/video/4lo0KNEAjoE/v-deo.html
