It is just a personal preference. I feel like this video showed a good balance between the building process and testing out what was built. Filling out the rest of the video with a slightly-modified exhibition build was good as well, but could also be its own segment if you ever worry about video length.
I agree, it's like 50 % of the game if not 75 % the interest of the game. If you know TheCat PlaysGamez, he use to do videos like that but idiots told him it was annoying they only want to see gameplay. So he does like Sethioz, a reversed build clip at the start then gameplay, i think it kinda lose it's charm ^^
This is why we have teammates that die early it's a battle game not a car show all the points put into cosmetic can be used as real armor or firepower. Your killing me smalls!!!!!
I would rate this building "guide" 4/10. 1. The only people who want to build low PS builds are either: A) newbies, who certainly don't have access to Steppenwolf/Firestarter armor parts B) sealclubbers, who really don't need a guide to make OP builds 2. No idea why you put 750 PS cabin that provides 10 energy when you are going to use only 8 energy... Just start the build off with cabins newbies have access to like Huntsman or Growl and weaponize them according to their energy output. Not only it's more affordable, it's also a lot better for PvP to save as much PS as you can. 3. There is no reason to use normal Frames on vehicle with wheels. The lightweight Frames make your vehicle faster and lighter. The only thing that can affect your Frames is fire, and nobody under 4k PS uses any fire based weapons. Also no reason to use 4x4 or 4x8 Frames when you can save PS and space under your vehicle and only use 1x4, 1x6, 1x8 lightweight frames on the sides, save the space in the middle for fuel tanks, generator, radio etc. 4. Auto-cannons are bad for the simple reason: they are suppost to be the long range sniper accurate weapons of rare quality, but they have such a huge recoil, you need to put a lot of weight on your build to make it consistantly accurate and not flip. That makes your build tanky and slow, which is just waste of PS if you plan on using the range it provides you are wasting the armor and if you use the armor and be in the front lines you should have put weapons that excel in close range combat like shotguns, machine guns that offer higher DPS... 5. Best affordable decoration are the common 6 PS lights, cheap in price and in PS, but put these on only if you have enough spare parts on your build for them. Newbies usually struggle with the part limit for any decoration, so at the very least put on a Flag. Doesn't cost much and the effect is worth it in the long run.
I'd say a decent beginner-mid level (2.5k-5k) pvp vehicle for me is 6 wheels, small and large gas tank under,decent cabin, 2-3 blue+ weapons, armour, radar and radio. Generator, ammo and coolers,ect are optional.

Why people with such parts still build 4000 ps vehs? Im lvl 22 still lvl 7 at scavengers and barely getting 4000ps on car... Am I doing something wrong?
For a successful build in this game you need to be very selective with the things you use and try make a build with as low power score as possible while it is at same time powerful and durable as the power score is what you get matched up against and not what your level is. Lot of the equipment and weapons in this game are very unbalanced in the way that they are for example only 10% more powerful while at same time give you double the power score then other weapon or equipment. My experience is that it is most easy to win lot off resources with a 3700 to 4500 power score build if you do not have lot of very expensive stuff to build with. If I go all out and put 3 of my grenade launchers on one car I end up with 9000 powerscore. When I use that car I and end up with people that have so strong cars that I hardly can make a dent in them while at same time they can one shot me and blow me to pieces with just one hit because I do not have super high end everything...
This video is a contradiction. You mention making a build that doesn't require insane amounts of grind..... the parts you use though... it is going to take an insane amount of time to grind up to the faction to use those parts....

But I made a over 5,000 power score cheaper than that I used Somme reapers ac43 rapier, Wyvern cabin 2 Street wheels st and 4 Street wheels a generator and that was it I think it's cheaper than yours I don't know what it was fairly cheap

I think the devs of crossout should add a creative mode to the game to allow you to have access to every part in the game and have fun

My most successful crossout build is 3750 powerscore with 2 granade launchers (not cheep), nothing brings in resources like it does.
Care to supply the name of this build on maybe the exibition so I can have a look since I would love to try it out
