You can tell the dudes just tensed up the entire time , then at points it gets too much he just has laugh it off to relieve the general stress inducing stimulus
This is my 2nd time seeing this patient on your channel and like always he seems to have a good spirit. Handsome smile, he pays attention to what your telling him. You should have him on more.
I've been watching your content for about a week now. Finally dug the gua sha tool out of my yoga bag. Worked on my left shoulder and jaw. The terrible pain and shoulder, which I was told by a doctor was "just bursitis" (aka Live With It) now feels like... a shoulder. Thanks for empowering me to work through the pain 🌞💪🏽
This is great. It’s so hard to find a chiro that knows what you need. Some barely touch you, others just do a snap, crackle, pop. This is a well rounded session.
I'm halfway through my massage therapy course and one thing that still gets me, and a chiropractor may attest to this, is that even though a client may be in physical pain, most, if not all therapists would back off from continuing with their work in that moment. I'm still working on this, but its interesting how we literally have to reprogram our instincts.
One of my PTs had me put my hand on their head to relax my armpit enough to get that one spot without so much pain. I'm so grateful for that PT. I had arm pain and numbness for so long and the previous two would just poke at my arm and say I don't feel any knots so idk how to help but this one knew right where the pain was coming from and I had no idea.
It's fascinating to and hear the differences between the two videos, in how the patient body is responding to the treatment and exercises as well as seeing much the doctor is not having to work as hard in getting the body to respond. In the first, you could see it was a real 'fight' to get the body to open up, and now there is a distinct reduction in that effort, which goes to show how much the patient, and their body is following through and permitting. Hopefully by now this treatment will a lot more further on and they are now able to do and move a more without so much difficulty. Thank you Dr Ed and to the patient for allowing us to see you doing a follow up and to see how things have progressed. Very informative and educational.
love your videos and your sis Dr. M's videos. wish i lived closer to you guys. Also love watching when you guys work on each other....lol You guys do a great job and are so caring with your patients. I would love to have a chiro like you two in my area. Keep up the great work!!
I’ve just started going to a chiro and while I don’t get these sort of treatments - does anybody unless it’s with Ed or Brenda?!! - I have learnt so much from them that I apply in my treatment. Breathing into the pain lol. Relaxing fir the neck crack. Understanding the biomechanics of injury and compensation, forward posture and the difference between tenderness and nerve pain. I still don’t know what knots are or spasms, other than I have them lol so will continue my educational journey with Ed and Brenda 👩🏼🏫
Man I remember when I used to work out everyday for like a year and then had a sports massage, I had knots all over my muscles and it hurts so good lol
I was making faces and holding my breath for him during this video. My husband looked at me and said “why are you making those faces?” 😂😂 Once again, great video and so informative.
Hi, i got a question. I got the same problem what he describes at 1:24. For the last couple of months i have a very sore and nagging feeling between the spine and the scapula. What could be the problem and what can i do about it?
I'm pretty sure my knots are close in density. I've tried deep tissue massage therapy for months with no real release. I've been living in constant pain and soreness for approximately 8 years. Three bulging discs, subtle but existing scoliosis and I'm only 31 years old. I have arthritis in my spine and my chiropractor told me that I can no longer lift weights. He said I had the back of a 60 year old man
Damn, that client is attractive. His attitude, smile, face, physique... total dreamboat haha. Sorry for the distraction, we can all carry on with our days now.
How can I find someone who does this local to me? I need this sooo bad! I literally live in pain DAILY and have solid full time knots in my rhomboids that cause chronic pain in my back and neck that I need help with! Anyone have any suggestions? There are regular chiropractors and massage places in my area, but none I've gone to are like this. All the massage places are the "spa" type massage or "thai" and "swedish" massages that are more for relaxation. I need someone who will REALLY work on me like this and break down my scar tissue and knots!
Watching your videos make me realize I need to go to the chiropractor. I have been told I have odd posture and I have realized that my head is more forward. Explains why my neck is so tense. Unfortunately, where I am in college, no one accepts my insurance :(
My body is an absolute mess, I don't even know where to start. But one thing I've been noticing lately is my right side of my body isn't responding to any of my weight training, upper right chest, right bicep, right shoulder, right lat just. What could be causing that? It almost feels like my nervous system isn't sending signals down that side, or is it because they're so tight down that side they won't grow?
I felt ever bit of this!!!! I want this done. I have curvature in that area that you are working on. Also forward head posture. Right now, I believe I’m experiencing vertigo symptoms from it!! 😢
I watched a programme once where the doctor said that if you imagine doing exercise your body thinks you are really doing it. Not sure how many thousands of times you have to repeat that move in your mind though 😄.
I've had deep pain for many years sometimes ain't as bad as other days and sometimes it goes away for a few day on my right side back just behind the rib cage feels deep inside.
I wonder if the area around the shoulderblade is a common area to develop muscle knots. I swear I have like three knots in the exact same spot that he does that never quite go away lol
I cracked up when he found the pencil on the doorframe. Lol. I need to visit you doc. Destroy my back and shoulder blades. I carry all my stress there. Someday soon I hope. 🤞🏽
One day, I’m coming to you bro to get my shoulder worked on. I imagine it’ll be nice and painful like this guy, especially since it definitely won’t be for another few years. Should be fun🙂
Laughing through the pain I like this guy. Keep smiling
I think it's a bit ticklish :D.
You can tell the dudes just tensed up the entire time , then at points it gets too much he just has laugh it off to relieve the general stress inducing stimulus
ya actually laughed cause of ticklish

@@TerrellAmari Lol right. "You should have him on more", oh yeah, lemme give you a free appointment to quench the thirst of some of my viewers

Are you becoming a massage therapist or are you getting the massage?

Woah! What a difference 3 weeks has made!!!
Argh that looks painful but I imagine the release is just wow.
That's what she said
@@TheBurninator50 😂
Wut
I’m gonna have to try that towel technique on my medially rotated clients.

Massage is starting to pop up more in Chiro offices. I worked in one for 4 years. Def makes the adjustment more effective.
"We're not trying to make friends" LOL love this dude.
That elbow massage part was just phenomenal
This video was so wholesale. Fantastic job Doc.
21:35 “my fist’s my sisters favorite… ive been there” 😭😭💀
This guy is a trooper. Those knuckles had to be brutal. 😬
I have been to chiropractors over the years but I have never seen one do the things you do!....Great job
Man I remember when I used to work out everyday for like a year

Yeah, that's why specialists recommend breaks of 48 to 96h between intense workouts
Just two guys fixing each other up.
I like this patient guy, he's handsome :)
Dreamboat is back!!! 😍

7:37 so satisfying! The TMJ massage almost put me to sleep 😴😴
Ooof! More reason for me to be mindful of my posture or suffer more TMJ issues.
I have this exact same issue and I would literally do anything to be the dude in this video. A lot of envy over here
Great form on the pull-ups by the patient.

This looks so painful. Does he really get relieved?
amazing patient!
Dude is yolked. It took me all summer to get 1 pull up
All about what you eat
The People’s Elbow! If you fully submit this is probably gasmic

LOL YUP
“You have a pencil up here.” 🤣🤣🤣
I need to start those shoulder stretches asap. Love your videos 👍😁
Impressive handstand doc
He was breathing so hard that I saw his sweat glands pop out his skin , I hope he gets better though 💪🏽

I bet he and Mondragon were trained by their father. Their techniques are identical!!! It's crazy to watch.

I’ve had this done and it hurts like holy HELLZ!

This is so wholesome
I have this exact pain behind my shoulder blade from blacking out and landing on it wrong. No knot but the mobility hurts so bad to move it.

Yay, Part 2
Would I be wrong to just schedule a massage 😂 some parts look soo relaxing
I’ve been to 2 different ones and they just crack everything and done.
I don't know why ... This chiro reminds me of Marvel's Doctor Strange hahaha
I love how his reaction to pain is to laugh
Great videos and inspirational
It's hard to endure tickling than just the pain.
I'd like to know what the scraping is for and what is releasing.
Basically is just breaking up the most superficial layers of the knots, releasing toxins out of muscles and promoting blood flow :)
Muscle tension
Lactic acid
Where and what is the process of these services for people who live outside of state?
I’m pretty sure I have a stubborn knot in the same spot! 😖
I had a dream the other night that I did a pull up lol. It felt so real 😭😂

There's a fella in Dublin that does deep tissue, he's amazing
Next stage injury therapy, he's on UA-cam aswell
Why don’t all chiropractors give massages?
They aren’t trained properly
How can I find a good doc like you, that actually knows how to fix these issues n my area … Lawrence Ks or Kansas City. ? Thanks for the video.
When are you coming over to London doctor......we need you here👌🏽
Only an athlete would take the pain and keep on smiling.

I hate massage therapists that completely ignore where you need more attention and go on auto pilot.
Superb
He said the armpit thing is his sisters fav but I've never seen her perform that.
Hi doctor great work. By any chance, do you have any colleague that provide a service like yours in the area of Miami Florida??

Dr. Ed would you consider your work more osteopath? Trying to find something in my area.
I know if I hung on a pull-up I’d just bring down the whole frame with me …
Thanks
