US Gypsum Narrow Gauge Operations 8/29/2022

USG operations from Plaster City, California to the Gypsum mine. I drove by around lunchtime and saw a crew arrive to work (1:00 pm start?). I then followed the empty train all the way to the mine via the dirt road parallel to the rail. Very sandy. 4X4 needed. I wasn't sure how long the load would take so I skipped following the loaded train back.
As fate would have it, several weeks from this encounter, heavy rains would damage one of the rail bridges.

Very nice vedio, do you know about how fast you had to go to match speed with the train
