My dad and one of my Aunts both used to smoke, according to them, quitting improved their senses of taste and smell. I've never smoked, nor do I intend to, so I'll take their word for it. I would love to see more of these commercials too.
I remember there was an ad campaign for Pac-Man vitamins that kept giving potshots to Flintstones Vitamins. Also, I dunno why but I kept laughing when the bottle tipped over as Fred said “We’re all flintstones vitamins.”
Fun Fact: Under the Welch's sponsorship, their jelly brand were packaged in jars that could double as drinking glasses with Flintstones imagery printed on the glass. I think my mom's friend who lived Upstate had a collection. I'm sure people still had these glasses or at least the memories of them.
I just recently found out that for like Fred and Barney on their own Cereal they are considered Spokestoons. This means they aren't really Cereal Mascots cause they already exist as Cartoon Characters. I never knew that until of this year. I happen to come across an article about Cereal Mascots and Spokestoons. Even if you look up the word Spokestoons you'll come across the Wiki page for it. I wouldn't mind seeing you do more Hanna Barbera commercials as well as Flintstones ones too. Those were some pretty fun and weird commercials. I knew about most of them but that one Cocoa Pebbles and the two Team Flakes ad I had never seen before. Pretty neat find. Love your stuff! From one Hanna Barbera fan to another. I do enjoy seeing you talk about Hanna Barbera. Edit: Did anyone notice Fred was wearing shoes in the Team Flakes commercial ad? I've known for them to bring up shoes or even in ads. There was a comic book that had Fred wearing shoes because of his feet hurting and the doctor giving him a pair of shoes made from stones. Not weird to me but some might think it.
There is lot of fun here! I'd love to see more. But... erh, is it strange that I don't feel any more attracted to the actual products they are shilling for?
I remember Flintstones Vitamins tasting awful when I was a kid. I hated them so much, I actually tried getting rid of them when my parents weren't looking.
To my knowledge, yes, people were shorter in the past. Pretty sure the thing about the "Your teeth will never outgrow it" was just something from a previous ad someone failed it edit out. I tried to find that slogan's source, but got nothing. BTW, the drinking age in Japan is 20. That's not Fred shilling Team flakes, it's Bluto in disguise!
Darn these commercials are interesting. 🤔 XD also not gonna lie. I'm a sucker for commercials that have Cartoon characters in a life action setting. Those make me happy. ^^
Well with the pebbles and bamm bamm Japanese commercial since the majority of Japanese anime has teenage characters it makes sense they would be teenagers in it instead of babies
You need to get to two cartoons one is Devlin who is basically an Evel Knievel ripoff and the other is wait till your father gets home which is kind of a Simpsons family guy predecessor
@@ArtificialOrangeStudiosI don’t believe that because it doesn’t represent anything bank related…I also translated the captions, which said “To suit you, to suit your lifestyle” and at the very end where it said “Please use it in a planned manner”. These lead me to believe that this is a commercial for family planning or something along those lines. What do you think?
@@SonOfHerodotusNo, it is for a bank. There's other commercials advertising for the same company and their more blatant about it, showing the Flintstones family riding an ATM card or Betty and Wilma using their bank card by going to a spa.
There was an episode of Flintstones Kids where a kid steals a pack of a cigarettes and pressures Fred into smoking. Oh, the irony.

Good bye Fred Hello Pac-man

search for the song "the king is gone (and so are you)" , these glasses are part of the story. i promise you - you will not regret it XD

This was a fun and interesting watch, so by all means, please do take a look at more cartoon character-based commercials like these. 😁

4:00 Yes, people in the past were actually shorter than modern humans.
12:15 pretty good Barney impression if I do say so myself. And I do.
I would really like this to be a series.
11:48 I like how obvious it is that that's Mel Blanc.
I mean, that voice is very distinctive and Mel did that voice in another cartoons
I would like 2 C more of those classic commercials, I think U should check out The Rocky & Bullwinkle commercials.
More please

so wait, the cereal transformed them into feral monsters, but the very same cereal Stepford-Mindbroke them back to normal? or reverse-hypnosis?👀 🤔

I agree.
Well with the pebbles and bamm bamm Japanese commercial since the majority of Japanese anime has teenage characters it makes sense they would be teenagers in it instead of babies
There was a Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Show. The Designs came from that
“This is probably somebody’s fetish”
He’s right. Proof: it’s my fetish.
How about doing Fast Food Commercials like Denny's & Jack In The Box
Thats one Dinosaur Extension theory, Death by Pasive Smokeing XD
Team commercial Fred to me sounds more like a fusion of Fred and some Dr. Seuss character, I do not know which one but it sounds like one of them.
I think Betty was Gay Autterson in her early Betty Rubble years her tone was slightly higher than her years in the 80s.
Japanese commercials R so quorky at times that I 💙 them.
Im pretty sure fruity and coco pebbles were rice crinkles you know the one with the creepy clown
I think I know why Fred sounds off. Between 1977 and 1978 the original voice of Fred died, and Henry Corden wouldn’t come until late 1977.
I wonder who made those fruity pebbles commercials i mean that I thought that they were made by Hal Seeger productions ,but then again?
You know what? Id like a Hanna Barbera in general commercials! And woody woodpecker and bugs bunny comemrcials are good too
I do know there's a great commercial for a bank with Top Cat and company out there somewhere. You probably (yabba-dabba-)do to.
2:28 Prehistoric size
You forgot about Flintstones push pops
I JUST GOT A SPEEDING TICKET!!!
Neanderthals were shorter, after all. So yes, you're right about them being short.
they were, but looking at Fred & barney's size they were probably Australopithecus (they were around 1m10 or the size of an 8-year-old)
@@monterrang1 Like your avatar BTW.

U use 2 smoke?!😦 Well good job quitting years ago.🙂
What was the Japanese commercial supposed to be about??? 14:11
Would you believe a Japanese bank?

@@ArtificialOrangeStudios Ooooh ok, that makes sense. Thanks!
Well the people drink 🍻 and smoke 🚬 a lot back then
i remember hearing people in the middle ages were shorter. not sure about "cavemen". lol
STOP!! SAYANG BAD WORDS!!!
Can’t wait to see all the Fruity/Cocoa Pebbles commercials you can find! 🥣😋
