Honestly shes smart to change the areglo of her song/s. She wants to think longterm and protect her instrument, her voice. Its all about longevity... look at Regine, Lani, & Jaya still singing to this day because they knew to preserve their voice.
Young Morisette would’ve belted like crazy but with age comes maturity. Hopefully she does preserve that voice.

I watched her concert before. Grabe late sya. Mga tao galit na. Pero nung lumabas sya nag sorry sya. Nawalan pala sya ng boses. Pero tinuloy parin nya ang concert. Naawa tuloy ako sa kanya pati mga tao. Pero maganda ang concert nya kahit walang mga wistle wistle.

We loved Mori for her longest belt, a whitle register out-of-nowhere, her unique and very satisfying (to hear) vocal acrobats, squeak and most of all her personality.. I will never get tired of hearing her sing her signature song, and i will always love Morissette, pero.....this version lacked the highlights that the song usually has (no whistle and the big long belting notes towards the end of the song), and it also seemed rushed. That's what bothered me the most, it was rushed. Not hatin', just sayin'....BTW thank you for the upload, Mon Jahrenel!!!

She is yes a very amazing and legendary singer of her generation and that gave us more proud being a filipino cause guis evrybody would agree that morissette is the only singer in the country who can act and imitate mariah's iconic whistle register or even more often reach and sustain longer whistle tone more than the supreme songbirds D#7 range but i dont see morissette can still reach her 30th universary in the future beacuse she once already failed her whistle in one of her concert and thats the common cause of lossing her voice like mariah carey sadly cant sing anymore.
Mariah lost her voice due to nodules not whistling. If your a fan of mori, you should know that mori takes good care of her voice. She knows her instrument and her limitations. Mori can exceed more than 30 years in the industry.
@@idontcare4464 i hope so ....whistling can probably damage our vocal cords i prove it to my self i can create whistle note but im not a singer and for almost 3years of using ive already notice the changes of my voice before its easy for me to sang highnotes head voice chest voice or even using falsetto which is the highest range for men next to whistle register and now theres a different than before i actually cant sing higher now because my vocal cord already getting wide and thats all started by using whistle regster .
