You haven’t talked about retirement age and retirement benefits. Considering the carry home overall package, it doesn’t look like to be an attractive job. And the worst is that there is no second innings after this job, since one retires with a unique / specific work experience, which doesn’t help you much in getting another job, when age is not in your favour.

I feel cabin crew job is physically mentally burdensome.night shift, heath weight maintenance is important and difficult. Salary is of medium rate.india with unemployment crisis ,cabin crew job is very sought after by huge no boys and girls irrespective of sslary.glamour of job is enviable.

Honestly my full time maid gets 23k. Most times she cooks for a couple of hours and helps my parents for opening door, simple house chores etc.

it is highly injustice on the part of the airliner not to compensate time loss owing to delays in operation which is not in the purview of your actual task for which you have been hired by the airliner

Ayeta, I am traveling Internationally flights since 07/12/1974 and came across lots of cabin crew. Except few all were found to be very well behaved and courteous.
On 15th April 2024 we started from Bhubaneswar to Delhi by Vistara and opted for wheelchair for both of us as we are now very senior citizens. This is the first time we boarded Vistara as they touch Delhi Terminal 3, where from we had International flight to Seattle via Paris.
We were very satisfied with Vistara staff but the crew members of France Airways were bit rood. I also enjoy Indigo as they have more flights.
I knew about the schedule for cabin crew but was not knowing about the current salary and perks they normally get.
I thank you for describing vividly about their work and salary.

Or corporate job mei first first mei to Kam milega but after 10yrs think how it will stretch.. u will income Even after ur marriage pregnant and with ur family... Have you tried for an International Cabin Crew? I worked in an International Call Center. Roster of every 15 days with two rotational holidays every week. There is also Domestic Call Center. Comparatively low Salary in Domestic Call Center. Somewhat assimilation. I traveled by Jet Airways Mumbai Delhi and back number of times way back during 1998 - 2002. Good Service. Only once Indian Airlines, not satisfied. One time only International travel Singapore Airways to Manchester. Very Good Service. Back to India through Air India. Okay Service. Male Cabin Crew?? Timing in this profession is very awkward & frustrating. If flights are delayed due to some reason you are not paid for that even though you have spent the time. Salary is less in view of ur duties & responsibilities.

This is shockingly low pay. I was assuming it would be around a lakh per month.
Fir kya fayda, after you age or get laid off your experience as a cabin crew is of no use in the market.
I worked for SV, flying angles do work hard and they do enjoy going places.
