Add your picks for Volume Two in the comments!
Have to do Devils Child for Volume Two!!
Jawbreaker
Freewheel Burning & Battle Hymn/One Shot at Glory
I’d be happy with the entire British steel album and anything from side one of Sad Wings of Destiny
The Hot Rockin video was cheesy like the heading out to the highway vid but that's what made them killer! If someone asked me what my favorite Judas priest song was I would just have to say "yes"
Electric Eye - now that's a monster riff. Great lyrics too - and very apt for today's society!
I remeber coming up with a riff thinking how fucking cool and original it was... it was Electric Eye note to note and I was devastated when I heard it. Then I was headbangin' so hard I forgot about it.
@@Ballin4Vengeance That's brilliant. 🤣🤣
@@-Digital-Reality- It fuckin' ain' this has happened to me more times than I'm willing to admit
"I feed upon your every thought \And so my power grows" Lyrics sounds like commentary on social media era.
Victim of changes has always been my favorite!
Couldn't watch this fast enough. My 76 year old father and I am huge Priest fans. Our cousins in Laconia, NH got us into Priest.
Yes!!! The sentinel!!!! One of my favorites!!!!!
Look out on UA-cam for the 1986 fuel for live tour version. It kicks ass!
Condemn to Hell!
I drove 50 miles with a friend in a blizzard to see them. We got in the concert for free because there was a blizzard. It was an awesome show. They sounded great!
How cool is this? Just saw Priest in Baton Rouge Friday night! Great show as expected! Rob still has that incredible stage presence.
Wassup neighbor !!??!! New Orleans calling !!! Laissez le bon temps rouler !!!
@@jameslanclos568 Who Dat!
Green Manalishi is one of my favorite Priest songs (written by Peter Green's Fleetwood mac) that I loved playing in my garage band.
I remember these songs when they were new..greatest heavy metal band of all time!!
Man those Songs Brings back some GRRRRRREART TIMES IN THE 70S AND early 80s!!!!!!!!!
Painkiller is my number 1, glad to see it on your list!
Glad you have The Sentinel up there.
My favourite Priest song ever, easily.
Next favourite is Freewheel Burning! Include that in volume 2!
The entire Defenders Of The Faith album completely blew me away the first time I heard it. I've truly never heard an album like that since and it still gets the same reaction every time I hear it now. Freewheel Burning just pummels you right out the gates and the energy doesn't let up the whole way through the album and by the time the title track comes stomping through, it's such an anthemic sound and leaves your ears ringing for hours.
MD your tone is spot on. Keep rocking from the recliner.
I've listened to Judas Priest albums from Sad Wings of Destiny to Painkiller and man, I can't get enough of those riffs. Rob Halford is one great vocalist
I was 5th row at the Montreal Forum when I was a teenage in the 80's. Man, what a show.
I like the way you sit in that chair and play so relaxed, I'm the same way. Love your playing, keep it up
So awesome Judas priest is one of my favorites
My hair is still on fire….love it!!!
One life, and I'm gonna live it up!
When I was fourteen I was big into running track and thought people that listened to stuff like Priest were strange. I think I got into metal when I was maybe in my early twenties.
I remember all the metal heads in my high school played hacky sack during lunch time and I don't remember a whole lot of jocks were into metal. Damn I'm glad we have guys like you to keep it alive
Please do an Iron Maiden one soon !!!
Amazing choices, i have pretty much the same list! 🤘
Saw them last june in Zurich, Switzerland it was beyond awesome. Richie Faulkner played three songs with a pick and after Painkiller he threw it in the crowd and i was able to catch it, that was awesome! Also i saw Phil Campbell (Guitarist from Motörhead) with his new project in octobre in a very small venue, which i don‘t understand to this day why such a legend was playing in a verd very small venue, but it made the concert even more personal so i had no problem with it. I was in the first row and Phil gave me a pick right in the hand. I am very emotional when it comes to that, i almost had an heart attack after touching Phils hand 😂. That was awesome
Love love love this top 10! 🤘🏻
🤘🏼🤘🏼 I saw them in concert in 1984 here in TN. I took some pictures at the concert & still have the ticket stub 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Sad wings of destiny! I was 18 senior high school dating a 23 year old! I remember that album!! 😆 lol
so happy you included the sentinel and electric eye, the first 2 songs that i learned by priest
I've seen some of your short videos but this video just got me too subscriber to you metal papi
My two favorite Judas Priest songs are LIVING AFTER MIDNIGHT and THE ELECTRIC EYE
BADASS as always sir! I love your tone and musicianship and DEFINITELY love of all things hard rock and heavy metal! KISS has always been my #1 favorite band too and Judas Priest is right up there with them as well!
Great list of songs... Priest Priest Priest...
The Hellion and Eletric Eye is epic!! And one of my favorite judas song u did not put in your list: The Desert Plains. Undestandable: Judas is great and have a lot o great songs.
Keep rocking!
Cheers from Brasil!
Lol I love the tag hanging off the EVH Wolfgang it's like the Bride leaving the price tag on the wedding dress so she can return it after the wedding
As always, killer playing! Excellent band, takes me back to a special time and alot of memories! We came up at the same time (I graduated '89) so your videos bring back so much. Its true, music is like a time machine in a weird way! Thank you.
Of course Breaking the Law is the most well known Judas Priest song but my all time favorite is Turbo Lover kinda reminds me of early Alice Cooper
Hell bent for leather sounds the same as thid
I love Turbo lover, still blast it in my car when out and about :D
stained class is my favorite album of judas
Turbo Lover is one of my favorite Priest albums.
Omg!..same thing! A Freind played a cassette of screaming for vengeance and I was blown away! I then went on to hear unleashed in the east! And years later I’m playing “heading out to the highway”!!! Rock on!!
But now, instead of “metal dad”, I’m “metal grandpa!”
One of the best and simplest is Grinder. My favorite 2 axe attack of all time.
Love Grinder!
Genocide and Running Wild &Grinder
Unleashed in the east was such a bad ass album
Your guitar sounds god-like, here i have my picks for volume two:
-Battle Hymn/One Shot at Glory
-Nostradamus
-Hellrider
-Leather Rebel
-Spectre
-Rising from the ruins
-Lightning strike
Great tone!
Hell yeah! Playing the black pawnshop LP. Nice choice for the Priest riffs. 👍
Great tone!👍
Desert plains, hot rockin, freewheel burning, some heads are gonna roll
Judas Priest were absolutely never afraid to get their hair cut at Fantastic Sam’s.
My guitar teacher keeps telling me about posture. Screw that, next time I'm taking recliner! Love the videos brother.
Thanks!
MIGHTY PRIEST ROCK ON !!
This band was a huge part of my high school years, got to see them live in 1986. 🤘great video Metal Dad! My first concert was Iron Maiden 1983.
Right on man.....nice sound!! JP riffs truly are Heavy Duty. 🤘
I remember being in a second hand store and asking my Mom what that big plastic rectangle was... an 8 track. Hearing you tell people to Google a cassette brings it all full circle!!
Killer killer playing sir! 💪🏽🤙🏽

So awesome how you played You've Got Another Thing Coming! Thanks for another great video!
Great list and great playing.
EXCITER!!
Once again great job.
Grinder intro was always one of my favorites. Great List BTW. There is a great Riff or two off Valhalla.
The look , the sound . No-one defines metal quite like priest ! Keep rockin` buddy !
Great presentation. Thankyou
Metal Dad, I am happily subscribed to your channel. My two favorite bands: KISS and Judas Priest. What’s so cool is that I met the legendary Rob Halford shopping at RALPHS’ in San Diego! He’s so down to earth and a total class act! I will never forget it! 😎🔥🥇
🥊🥊🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💖✝️
Yes! You even included Bloodstone! 🤘
Totally Rockin'! 🤘🏻
Awesome my metal brother🤘🤘🤘
Damn Metal Dad. Kickin' Ass.
We used to start our shows with Victim of Changes; after singing that anything else was easy peasy.
Bouncy of my favorite there. Great job. Would have liked to hear you do metal gods.
Cool list, some of my all-time faves for sure (Solar Angels is awesome!). Exciter and Tyrant are two that definitely are worth consideration as well, killer riffs!
HEY! I JUST FOUND THIS VIDEO AND YOU, FOR THE FIRST TIME.. I LIKE THE GUITAR SOUNDS OF JUDAS PRIEST, SO I CAME TO CHECK IT OUT.. YOU DID A GREAT JOB! THE SOUND OF YOUR GUITAR WAS GREAT. IM SURE IT WAS SOME PROCESSOR THAT GAVE YOU THE SOUND, BUT IT WAS GREAT ANYWAY! I WANTED TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO GET BACK INTO SHAPE AND START MAKING YOUR OWN GUITAR MUSIC AGAIN ( IF YOU USED TO? AND IF YOU NEVER HAVE MADE YOUR OWN MUSIC? THEN YOU NEED TO! ) YOU ARE STILL "YOUNG" ENOUGH TO GET HEALTHY, FIT, STRONG, AND HAVE 20yrs TAKEN OFF YOUR PHYSICAL APPEARANCE AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONALITY, AND STILL KICK SOME MUSICAL AND GUITAR PLAYING ASS! AND YOU SHOULD! ITS YOU! DONT WASTE ANY MORE TIME! DO IT! FOR YOU AND ALL THE FANS OUT HERE WAITING TO SEE AND HEAR YOU PLAY! : )
Nice one, Pop! 🤘
Love this video. I was pumping my fist in the air to Hellion. Great job heavy metal dad. 👏
Night Crawler and Halls of Valhalla are great. The speed of the drums n bass. Just don't try to drive at 70mph with either up loud.
Metal Dad keep up the great work! Love the pics of Judas Priest. One of the best bands ever and still rocking though without Glenn and KK. Just saw them last month in Boston.
Thanks Glenn and Kenneth!
Metal Dad, we love you.
Awesome riffing
Brilliant Metal Dad 👍

Best band! 🙂🇧🇷

Screaming for Vengeance remains as my Fav Judas Priest album. (I'm 55) One of my favorite riffs is "Exciter". One of their best IMO.
So hard to chose but my favorite song and playing is Dreamer Deceiver! 🔥
I salute you sir...🤘🏿
Defenders of the faith was my first priest album and it was amazing
One of my favorite Priest tunes is Parental Guidance...
Rock hard ride free is my favorite Priest song hands down. 💪🏽🤘🏽
Priest is one of the greatest rock bands in the history of the world!!! Glenn is in my top 5 guitar players of all time!! I fucking love the electric eye that is such a cool riff and bloodstone which is hard to play btw you did a great job in that!!! How about On The Run for part 2 👍😎🤘🎸
Awesome video Metal Pops. My favorite Priest riff is Hell Patrol. Later song but I’m from the painkiller day and age.
Yes, I remember the compact cassette and still have a few from 30 or so years ago.
The compact cassette came after the 8 track and before that was reel to reel and before that was nothing but vinyl.
Exciter!
YOU ARE, AMAZING;)))!!!!!!
HI METAL DAD.
This is very enjoyable your metal guitar tone is impeccable. Please divulge how you have managed to get such a great sound. Cheers
Awesome! I always though JP were slightly underappreciated even though Glenn and K.K. are badass guitarists.
