5’11” 283lbs, and a professional athlete. Respect.
Good thing he does sports....he likely has a predisposition to being on the big side. Without athletics he would be super big and extra unhealthy
Thankfully he’s a pitcher
David Wells: "I'm not an athlete. I'm a baseball player."
I don't think people realize that no matter the sport, even the guys that don't look at all like athletes are and will always be stronger, faster, and more athletic than the average person
Don’t forget 44 years old and STILL doing his thing
That San Diego crowd going absolutely ape shit for an opposing player's home run to take the lead just shows how much everyone loves this dude and rightfully so. Absolutely one of my favorite players of all time
I watched his bunt in a runner at citi field, the whole place went wild. Everyone loves him
And it led to them getting Tatis
I have watched that homerun so many times and am now just realizing that wasnt the mets stadium. The stadium was so loud, that's crazy that was San Diego
Normal player hits a homerun: ah nice one
Bartolo Colon hits a homerun: "This is one of the great moments in the history of baseball!"
Because it was his first one he ever hit in the majors
@@progamer_5554 it was but it was also the greatest moment in sports history
Might be because he is in NL and not AL. In NL the pitchers hit, but in the AL, they don’t.
the fans also felt like it was one the greatest moments
The dude had a lifetime batting average going into that game lower than his age, had only gotten his first RBI like a month before that (after having been in the majors for like 18 years by then), and had a notoriously HORRIBLE swing (arguably the worst in the majors ever)...so notorious, in fact, that it became a full-on meme and the meme made _this_ video. He was one of the most beloved players ever, and, yet, because of how laughably bad he was as a hitter, NO ONE *EVER* thought he could or would hit an HR. He showed some power, so everyone was rooting for it, even though everyone knew the odds were terribly against it happening. THAT'S why this was seen as such a big deal at the time.
legend has it that the first time he swung and missed and the helmet went flying off, the fans loved it so much he purposefully wore an even larger helmet so it happened all the time. this guy's fan service was off the charts. loved him as a met. LFGM!
I have never see such a combination of speed, athleticism, power, precision, coordination, and sexiness in a man.
Speed? 😂
@@gusposey8218 of course, Colon is considered one of the fastest players and people of all time. He runs a 4.15 40 yd dash. He has infinite power.
@@jacobtowe4172 Infinite power would explain his overall shape.
Because is illegal in most states.
@@gusposey8218 why you so mad
the title should be Bartolo Colon, The Most Athletic sexiest big man ever
I was gonna comment this🙄 this is what happeneds when I’m late ig
No Bartolo calon, the sexiest player alive
@@plushman5969 *human
Hahahaha just like me
Wrong. Bartolo Colon, the sexiest man ever.
He’s not fat, he’s just built different.
As somebody that is the same size, I can assure you, he is fat.
@@orion7741 it was a joke fat boy
@@hoss3113 LOL WHAT
@@aidanchiu346 lol
Swayshee, LOL! He’s just horizontally challenged. 🙂
He's playing pro ball in Mexico, and I heard a report that he was thinking of returning to MLB. I hope he does come back, and that whichever team he signs with wins the World Series. Big Sexy deserves a ring.
He's playing with my hometown team Acereros of Monclova
Did you know why he is not MLB.??
@@jcalzada74 he’s 50 something
i love how his helmet falls off almost every swing lol
HAHA
He must've been wearing a 3XL-sized helmet, instead of a 2XL-size!
The helmet can’t handle to sexiness
Perhaps the ONLY time when Bartolo's helmet didn't fall off of him, was when he hit that first career home run in San Diego.
Saw it live in person
, it’s the funniest shit.
This is one of the few people on the planet that can actually claim, "I'm not fat. I'm just big boned."
The title should be “Bartolo Colon, the Sexiest man in the world”
@@HenriSports the guys a national treasure for every nation on the planet.
@ that is true

Yup, I’ll buy that tequila
I knew this joke was coming, and I still spit out my drink.
I remember my wrestling coach back in 8th grade was built a lot like bartolo, he challenged us all to a race and told us that he would give us practice off the next day if anybody could beat him. he smoked all of us, even the most athletic looking ones.
You misspelled the title “Bartolo Colon, the most athletic buff guy in baseball”
He strikes me as a guy who is just a little league coach in some southern town, who is fairly good at baseball. Married, detached house, 3 kids, typical family man, and most importantly, a typical dad. Type of guy who would mow his lawn every saturday morning
But he's not white. I thought all you white people want an only white country.
@@victorhardin2186 What? No we don't?
@@victorhardin2186 Your stupidity is showing...
@@GhenzieDC take a look at the history of your people i mean a really good look and you will see that you are the bad man.
@@GhenzieDC but you came from those people so that evilness is still in your blood sorry
I still remember his rookie year. He was the Indians most touted young pitching prospect at the time. He was expected to have a good career, but I don’t think anyone could have foreseen him becoming a legend.
Just think, if there was a universal DH, we would've never got to see him hit.
Hes already kind of fast. Imagine how fast hed be without the extra weight
That is the only thing Usain Bolt fears
I think he's sorta like a sumo wrestler all his muscle and there seems to be a lot is hidden under some mass which would make him fucking great at boxing
@@christophertidwell2422 I'm glad that you understood the word "fat" doesn't describe big sexy
I remember when he was an all star with the athletics, no one cheered for him. He goes to the Mets and is beloved. His time in New York was special. Let’s go Mets
Is noone seriously going to mention that insane trick shot he pulled off playing pool?
who's noone?

Bartolo is a goddamn beast. PUT HIM IN THE HOF FOR JUST BEING HIMSELF!
He should be in a greeting video as you walk in
When you realize all of Joey Diaz’s stories are true
Haha that's who i imagined also 😆
This is why the NL should never have a DH.
More like MadBum is the reason why the NL shouldnt have a DH
AL baseball sucks
@@JKinder313 bruh it’s like exactly the same
It is exactly the same he just doesn’t understand baseball
@@Devanzo321 AL have DHs batting for their pitchers. NL doesn't. Tell me how they're the same 🤔
I love how the opposing team's fans were cheering for him when he hit his first home run.
Everyone loves Colon.
As a fat man lacking in confidence bc of my body , this man is my new hero
Just cause you're a big man, doesn't mean you can't do big things. We're rooting for you buddy. 👍
Work out then. Nothing is stopping you. I came from the opposite end of the spectrum. I was so skinny people as in random strangers would ask me if I'm anorexic or on drugs. I've put on 45 pounds of muscle. Weight gain or loss is hard but it's better than trying to pretend everything is ok.
Get up and get active. Don’t think, just do. When it hurts the next day, keep going. Learn as you go so you can improve. You’ll get stronger, faster, have more energy, develop more confidence and look good in what you wear. What you eat is 80% of the battle. Good luck my guy
Love big sexy... was so excited when the angels signed him.
Craziest stat for him... hes struck out like 4 or 5 father / son combos..... thats insane how long hes played
He is the Chris Farley of baseball. He can make his body do whatever he needs it to do regardless of weight.
(RIP Chris)
Guy has a true rubber arm. And can play the ball well. He was able to pitch into his 40's because he located his pitches. Didn't need to throw quick after a while.
He was also a guy that you can depend on for a solid start most games. I loved him on the Mets. And he was a great middle of rotation SP to have.
Seen that home run so many times still makes me smile and laugh haha awesome
This man knows he is just playing a game having fun God bless him for just being himself.
And we won’t see another one like this guy he was a fresh of breath air for the sport 👍💯🇺🇸🇵🇷
that backhand flip at the start was sweet. what am i saying? i don't watch baseball. why am i here?
Me neither but I’m here🤣🤣🤣
Because bartolo colon is a leyend
A few guys just transcend the sport. He's one of em 😂
the clip at 4 minutes is paul blart not colon lmao
Yea wtf why is it in the vid
@@CorreaFan96 I think the guy with his back to the camera, in front of Mall Cop IS Colon. Even if, still no clue why they stuck him in there.
@@nancybez yea i know that but the one hitting is paul blart so it doesnt makes sensse
Because you have a big guy thinking he can come into Big Sexy’s territory and Bartolo scared him off.
"Bartolo Colon, the most large attractive in baseball"
Great video man 😂
I never saw a bartolo AB where he wasnt swinging for the fences. Also legit gold glove candidate for most of his career
1:12 legendary
The shot heard around the buffet!
Most iconic clip in sports history
I shotgunned a beer after he hit that homerun off Shields in SD.
Do “craig kimbrel, currently the worst closer in baseball”
The most bipolar
For now, I’m sure he can become better next season, he had a great September so most people are expecting a comeback year for him next year
I know you are a cub fan(so I am) And I can Say, his beard gives him powers, with out it hes nothing
No
@Logan Titus ye
If you look up "dad strength", an image of Bartolo Colon should pop up. This man is the physical embodiment of dad strength.
Hes so amazing that he has 2 families and doesnt even talk to one of them!
Boss.
Tbh this how babe ruth was built towards the end of his career and he was hitting dingers everyday
Those 45 people who disliked should reflect on their life
I miss watching him play, he was very entertaining💯
He doesn’t swing for the fences, he swings for the parking lot 😂
01:40 Dee couldn't believe it 😂
You forgot my favorite clip where Pujols rips his shirt out as he’s running back to the dugout.

Bartolo colon’s head to his helmet: get tf off of me
Adrian Beltre and Colon the two most entertaining baseball players i have ever seen
Great channel btw. Videos are hella entertaining
Loved watching him pitch when he was with the Cleveland Indians. His fastball in the early innings was 95-96 mph. In the 8th and 9th innings it was at 98-99, and hit over 100 on occasion after a pitch count of 110-120 pitches.
1:37 he just wins a flat out foot race against Dee Gordon? What?
Yea that's pretty fuckin impressive lol Gordon grabs his head like no way he just beat me lmao
Watching Batolo succeed as a heavier man in baseball is really cool. Deceptively athletic.
And this is why we love this man
I was astonished witnessing his first career home run
Behind the back flip to 1st. Cannot think of anyone else pulling that move off. Epic!
@2:59 the reporter's reaction gets me every time.
So smooth with it
I miss seeing him play! I loved watching him in Oakland!
Why is this channel the best for baseball things besides fuzzy and jomboy? If people say they don't like this channel there lying its plain facts.
Foolish baseball is a great channel too
Jomboy is annoying as hell. The fact that he thinks his opinions are fact and that everyone should agree with what he says, coupled with him repeating himself 30 times and replaying clips 900 times, just a useless channel imo
Runners gotta feel terrible being out ran by him hahah
Especially when he outran dee gordon
MY. FAVORITE. PLAYER. He's never been on the team I root for, but I loved every clip I've ever seen of him.
I remember watching this with my two cousins(one is a Mets fan and the other is a padres fan) we were watching the MetsVPadres and when Colon made that homerun. It was the funniest thing ever because we didn’t expect that to happen but then once again. It’s the padres 😅😂
Padres are beasts now
The greatest player ever don’t at me
The behind the back flip to first will be on highlight reels a century from now!!
This is what peak performance looks like
The home run never gets old.
Do “Robinson Cano the laziest player in baseball”
Or “Robinson Cano and his strange addiction to being suspended”
1:11 still legendary
Prince fielder: am I a joke to you😂
Lengendary one of my favorite ball players and looks like he has fun playing the game.god blessed him
It's amazing to watch his athletic skills in spite of his weight. God bless him!
As a 5’11”, 260pounder, I need to start looking at his workouts and stretching stuff!
What an absolute UNIT.
1:37 wow @ him covering first like that 💪
@ 0:42 And he never let go of that chopped cheese in his left hand.
Legendary NYer.
Just imagine how loud the stadium would be if he hit his first home run at the Mets stadium
This guy has definitely been used for an Action Bronson lyric at some point.
He is king of the beer guts.
Years ago we had Terry Forster who was dubbed a "tub of goo" by David Letterman.
wait at 3:30 is that kevin james almost going yard? hell yeah dude
“No one man should have all that power.”
He’s not fat... he’s phat... and even then,
he’s T H I C C
Lifestyle goals, right here.
3:30 Kevin James! I knew Doug Heffernan was a Mets fan but didn't know Kevin James was too in real life
As a fellow Big Unit, you gotta love Bartolo. :)
Reminds me a little of Yogi Berra, who wasn't built like an athlete but turned out to be an amazing athlete.
Now this dude was fun to watch.
Alt title: bartolo colon losing his hat and helmet for 5 minutes straight
What a guy, and what a career he had.
I LOVE this man! Nothing but respect for him!
Saw his home run live, at city field while he was with the Mets. Much respect big sexy
No you didn’t. He was in San Diego Jackass. You probably own the triboro bridge too
