I have watered down some glue to use on a journal cover that I'm making with torn brown paper bags. I thought that I had it a little to runny, but seeing yours I think mine will be fine. I plan to try it tomorrow.

Happy dance! Happy dance! So glad to see you using the napkins, I just love them. I have collected them for years and it is my pleasure to share them with you. The first one you used is a new one but the poinsettia one I'm pretty sure I have had for some years. And you have done more than enough for me, giving me encouragement, promoting my Etsy shop and just by giving me the pleasure of your "company" every day - well, most days anyway. I never tire of watching you create and listening to your lovely voice.

@@deborahsturgess7847 Hi, Deborah, I actually don’t recall where I purchased the napkins. I have actually collected them for years. I know that I got a lot of napkins recently (before COVID) from Tuesday Morning but I can’t say for sure that’s where I got those particular ones. I know that I have the flower one in two sizes but I’m not sure I still have any of the holly napkin left. Normally, I sell them in my Etsy shop but for some reason, I didn’t list the Christmas/holiday ones this past season. Are you located in the US?

I would just love to be a fly on the wall when you and your sister get together. I would love to hear the silliness that close sisters have. That's how my sisters were/ are when we get together. I am not close in miles, takes 12 hours drive time, but we are very close in our hearts. I feel sorry for siblings that do not get along, they miss out on so much. Love you and wish you and your family a Very Blessed Christmas.

I just thought of it. You know what would help with the tearing bits off the napkin? A brush that's about twice as wide, or even a bit more, and I believe you can get softer bristles as well, and it would make the process alot faster as well.

Wow, Rachel, these are gorgeous !! I'm having super napkin envy !! Try this -- you can do it one of two ways -- there's is some kind of chemical reaction when you add heat to the glue -- use a hair dryer on the high setting -- not a heat gun; too hot -- or, you can put them all on a cookie sheet with either a sil pat or parchment/baking paper (not wax paper), put them in the oven, turn your oven on low -- no more than 200 F/93 C -- when it reaches temp., turn the oven off and let them stay in no more than about 15 minutes -- it bakes the glue into the paper and napkin and helps a little with wrinkles, and the effect is magical -- the colors just pop -- this works really well if you are decoupaging on objects like glass, metal -- I'd use the hair dryer only on like plastics and wood. Sounds like your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are going to be wonderful -- you'll all be hoarse from telling stories and laughing so much -- it doesn't get a whole lot better than that !! (Plus yummie food!) Ooh -- take pix of the tablescapes -- if we don't speak again, Merry, Merry Christmas -- thank you so much for all the laughs and ideas and techniques and inspiration (and teaching me about digi kits) this past year -- finding your channel was such a blessing to me and has brought such joy to my life !!!

I love Downton abbey as well, it was sad when they said they are not doing anymore. 2 weeks ago it was my 60th and one of my presents was the full set in dvd's, along with the Christmas film as well. Plus a sewing machine which is frightening the life out of me...you would think it was going to run me over when I go fast. I love the Christmas napkins you are using- so much fun!! I love to use mod podge with my napkins and book pages- it does get a bit shiny, but I can always use an emery board and lightly sand off the shine--although it also protects the page and gives it a little bit firmer feel. Everyone has their own favorites I guess.

I'm never bored with your videos. I find them to be relaxing and inspiring at the same time. I was trying to see if I could read any of the book that you were collaging on. Was that some kind of medical book? I thought I saw stuff about sore throats, washing with boiling water, and using a rubber tube. LOL When I was a teenager I could speak and read so much more. It's a beautiful language! Hope your are having fun. The news said that parts of Australia is dealing with 107 degree temps!!! Yikes!

At least you remembered to pick up Lulu. My Daughter asked me many years ago, if I would play hide-n-seek with her. Sure, I said, while I'm working on crafts. I didn't count off numbers, because I thought I'll look for her in a minute...WELL, ONE HOUR LATER.. "Mom, Did you forget about me?" 🙆 Oops. We laughed about it since then and she reminds to make sure to drop what I'm doing and count off from now on.

Very nice Christmas pieces, though I don't really celebrate Christmas anymore, as a Christian, but go along with it for the sake of Jesus birth, even tho, I bet you didn't know, as most people don't, but Jesus may have been conceived in December, but really born either in September or possibly August. But Merry Christ Mass! And I love your digitals! First time I ever bought digitals online.

Humor is a strange thing; although it involves cognitive processes like thouht, it is not strongly associated with intellect. Also, the ability to understand it is also affected by personality, mood and other factors. I have known literal geniuses who struggle to understand humor, like Sheldon on Big Bang Theory, and those of substantially less intellect who had quite robust senses of humor. Then, when you factor in language......its not surprising that some jokes wouldn't seem funny to you.
