Hi brother! I´d love to know your thoughts about this idea I´ve developed lately. The problem with many judo throws is that they expose the back to the opponent. If your opponent is a wrestler (and he can suplex), your takedown attempt has to be effective; it doesn't matter if it´s not fight-ending, but at least you have to take the wrestler to the ground to do your groundwork. If your takedown attempt is soft, the wrestler will suplex you, and the fight will be over. Even with the existence of the wrestler's kryptonite against judokas, judo is the most complete grappling art, and in my eyes, the best art for self-defense. Simply because most people cannot suplex you, and as a judoka you are very capable of doing fight-ending takedowns and finishing fights with your groundwork. I´d love to read your thoughts on this, I don´t claim to know everything, but I just can´t think differently after doing the big three grappling arts. Have a good one! P.D. I´ve done judo, freestyle, and greco wrestling. IMO, the best fight-ending takedowns for the streets come from Greco.
Prefer this platform over ig videos by a lot. So much easier to pause and rewind. Thanks, Dom!
5:01 triangle detail
Dom, don't stop posting videos of techniques and training on your UA-cam channel and social media. I'm your fan here in Brazil. Hug.

Keep posting Dom! one of the best teachers
Thanks bro I need this for competition 🕷️
Good details per the positioning of the legs and how the triangle can be most efficiently applied and used to finish your opponent.
Awesome sequence- laser guard is so powerful… even guys stronger than you can’t muscle out of it. Great triangle details, too!

Nice
Bravo👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥋🇧🇷
What if the guy steps over free leg and tries to stick you in HQ?
Stepping over thr free leg would be hard without controlling it with a grip. When he reaches for the leg he's vulnerable for the triangle.
Can't step over the free leg with the other foot in his hip keeping distance.
