Many American cities are not so great.. I might eventually move abroad somewhere.. Miami is good for me now because it has an international airport with flights many places, good weather all year round, no income tax, and handled covid very well.. I also like to practice my Spanish here.. for me I'm just floating from one airbnb to another until I can figure out what to do..
As someone who was born and raised in Miami- it’s a beautiful city. I moved out to Denver to get my stuff together as Hometowns come with more distractions than new ones at times. I’m grateful to be considering to move back and seeing that someone as yourself had a marvelous experience. This video only confirmed that it’s time I get ready to go back home.💕
i'm in a strange position where i might have a job offer soon for a big position in Miami but i've never been interested in Florida or Miami (been in Boston a long time)...i think you're right that's it's what you make of it
Thank you so much for this video! I moved to LA in December of 2020 and although I absolutely love it I have been thinking about making the move to Miami (I’m originally from the Midwest so it would be closer to my family). How would you compare it to LA (if you have ever spent time there)?
You are so welcome. I have been there 1x. I would say Miami is "smaller" the city itself so if you're looking for something that isn't as big Miami is your place.
🥹I really, really want to move to Miami I finally visited fir the first time earlier this year. I've visited Clearwater, Tampa, and Orlando, but Miami just connected with my soul on a deeper level. All I've heard is how expensive it is, all it is, is a party city. I feel like im a very driven and hard-working person,(no one will give me credit for this in my city🤦🏾♂️😒). I may not be able to afford it, but I feel like I have to try regardless)Im not afraid to fail anyway🤷🏾♂️ many thing's ive done haven't succeeded but some have. Life is too short to give up on your dreams. Entrepreneurship seems to flourish in Miami and I like this. Also this woman is lovely 😅🥰but that seems to be everywhere in Miami lolo
You have a great mindset. If your open to feedback start to change your words when you talk about money. Instead of saying expensive say an investment. I also invite you to take out “I can’t afford it” instead you can also say I don’t want to invest that type of money for x y z. Miami is so much more than a party city. Check out the beach- vibes are great

@@JessicaTellian I have an apartment on the beach in bondi in Australia and I was thinking of moving to Miami, San Diego or Los Angeles. What areas would you recommend in any of those places?

Thank you for sharing Jessica. You have a nice caring and supportive energy. I'm from Bristol in the UK and people are open here. It's important I'm around supportive people so I've started making friends with therapists and they make great friends as they know how much to validate and listen in conversation. I'd like to move to the states and I'm looking at Austin. I'd like to be around people who are caring, compassionate and ambitious/entrepreneurial. I may book a trip for next year to see what it feels like before I move. I was thinking of Florida, but I don't think I'd fit into Miami culture as I like down to earth, genuine, empathetic people. Have you heard about the enneagram? I am a 4 (emotional) with a 3 wing (ambitious). Check it out and let me know what your number is :)
A place is as wonderful as one makes it. The beautiful weather helps. Personally, I think the people in Little Havana are non superficial, down to earth and have good family values. Me and my wife live in New York but travel back and forth from NY to Miami where one of our sons live.
Dated a childhood sweetheart who had moved to Miami and got a job there. Visited and knew Miami was not for me. But to each their own and I could see why many people love it there.
Thank you for the video Jessica . I do have a calling to live in Miami but I don’t have a career that pays a ton of money .. but on the other hand I have a friend in dallas saying link with him because we can do business together . Kind of torn. What’s your advice
If you feel deep down that you want to live in Miami do it. Set yourself up as much as you can but you also don’t need to have it all figured out! Everything happens for a reason. Especially when you listen to your intuition.
I was going to move to FL until the rents got too high. I'm looking into Dallas instead (way more affordable). My gut is telling me to go to Dallas for some reason.
Thanks for the update. Since I was 8 years old, I always knew I had something for Florida - I just never knew it was South Florida or Miami in particular, but here I am, wanting to call the 305 home. I personally think the pros outweigh the cons, and there’s no other place I would consider living in right now other than my home state, Texas.
I love that!! Follow your intuition ❤ I have another video I’m uploading this week where I answer some questions people asked in the comments. I believe it will be helpful for you
