I appreciate this for what it is. If you are expecting them to sound and look just like they did back then, watch old concert videos. Great songs are meant to be played. Keep the music alive.
I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for filming and uploading the full lenght concert and in great quality...I have to be honest I have not seen an REO Speedwagon gig of this lenght on yt in a very long time, so kudos!! This was really greatly appreciated by this long time fan🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙👍
@@DestinationVegasBaby yes, I second that. They played a lot of songs at this show They don’t typically play and it’s nice to get to hear them. Nobody really really posted them separately either.
I saw these guys many years ago in SC at a brand new outdoor venue. It was so new in fact that a lot of people didn't know about it and only about 800 people showed up. REO was there with Journey and Styx. This was when Steve Augeri took the helm for singer of Journey, REO sounded so clear it sounded as good as the studio record, I was very impressed of how great they sounded.
Dave stepped up to the plate and hits home runs every time.still miss Gary the boys are still rocking.. Kevin is the shizmit this band in my opinion is the best
My wife and I saw REO Speedwagon live at Wild Adventures in Lowndes County, Georgia in 2022, and Kevin Cronin was still in fine voice. So what if the lineup is not the one from the 1970s. Changes in band lineups are a fact of life. That’s just the way it is.
It's strange to see no original members, Kevin is about the close to original member now (Most sucessfull singer in their line-ups), since Neil "retired" (I'm sure Neil is still getting paid) Kevin can still sing, I just wish they would put out new music.
there's is none one here.kevin at this time is flying solo. You must realize good or band he needs the name of Reo to make good money, know matter who is left in the band!!
Looks more like the KC experience and cover band. Dave and Brian have always done good job, but KC needs to hang it up. Age catches us all. Where's Bruce?
No, first off Bruce will be back. And Was with them for the Hi Infidelity album. You’ve got the original lead singer (from their heyday) and you have two musicians who have been with the band for 35 years. They pretty much play note for note what was on the recording. Far from a tribute band.

Longtime fan here that saw them countless times during the 1980's. I've seen a few DVD concerts from over the past few years but this is sad. There is no energy here , the tempo is way down and it's as if they are just going thru the motions. Perhaps now IS the right time to call it a day. I just saw several clips of the Eagles at the Sphere in Vegas and it's the same results. I know several of you will take shots at me for criticizing your favorite band but I'm 65 and grew up with many of these bands like many of you. But like Foreigner, Styx, Journey, Queen it's time to say goodbye and put on your copy of "You Get What You Play For"
No, he lost his band for being a raging alcoholic and drug addict that could not perform on the road, and despite try after try, did not get better. Why does Kevin always catch the blame but Neal and Bruce do not?
They sound fabulous! So many great songs and memories. Thank you for sharing this!
Glad you enjoyed it

@MrFrederickHerbert Um, ok, Boomer Bully
I am a 53 yo happily married straight male. And?
This is the best Kevin has sounded in years. He was hitting all the high notes.
100% - it's clear he continues to work on his game.
Big sound!!

So nice of you to comment...thank you. We also have one from Styx a short time ago that you might want to check out.

The music when I was growing up in the 80's. Thank you for sharing!!
Amazing and wonderful Reo Speedwagon! I love you.
The opening guitar sure ain't Gary Richrath. We miss you sir so much.

These guys still sound great.
Bruce is recovering from back surgery. Hope to see him again soon.
I have been in recovery for 20+ years and feel so bad that this disease claimed another life, Gary was a great musician and person

Sounds pretty good especially atc70 plus yrs old 😊
Long Live Gary!

Kevin ain't been in "fine voice" in a hott minute 😉😅
KC has to be in his 70s and his vocals sound amazing so it’s still
REO to the fans who love them
73....still going strong.
I saw them touring this album 45 years ago in New Orleans
Spokane here
and???

I suspect Bruce will be back when his back heals up.
Who the hell is this band with Kevin??? It doesn't even look like one member from the classic lineup??

lol where have you been? Most of the original members have been in the band for quite a long time.
@@tony2526 lol.noooo, most all original members are not in the band!!!only one left is kevin the singer in this video!!
I suspect Bruce will be back when his back heals up.
Kevin Cronin is the only member left from the 80s....this is a bit weird to say the least.
Did they change the key of some songs? Especially shakin it loose. Sounds sluggish

Back surgery then Queen Kevin booted him out -sad
This is an REO tribute band with KC in it

@@Json547 kevin's voice is not very good !
@@brithaddenhadden8383 ok. His voice is fine for a 73-year-old man. Does he sound exactly like he did 1980, no but he can still sing pretty well.
@@Json547 No, tribute band, joke. Unfortunately, most have no clue as with so many classic lineups touring. Quite sad.
Never knew Steve Doocy was in REO Speed wagon , he's not bad - haha
He's gotta have something to do in between Fox broadcasts 😂
I never knew idiots knew how to comment on screwtube.
Where is Bruce ?
Back Surgery...hopefully back soon. He is missed that is for sure

being a bass player, bruce is not missed much at all!!
Someone said he's recovering from back surgery.
They left out "Golden Country" on the track list
Thank you...fixed now. Left out best song...lol
Golden country is 1973 not high infidelity

No Kevin. No REO.
Huh, that IS Kevin!
Saw them in the 80’s…they lack the energy today….
May you have at least half their energy when you're their age.

WHY DOES HE SING SO SOFT NOW UGH
Old you get the thinner the voice. He has a new vocal coach he is working with as well. Pretty amazing he's still out there singing as good as he is.
COVID briefly took his voice. He's bounced back considerably.
your done touring REOSPEEDWAGON .... Bruce and alan and neil gets done with you
He lost his band for dialing that number.
