Good info. It's easy to get so caught up in anatomy, perspective, page composition, or color (all the fun stuff) that when it's all done you might not even think about how it prints or the best way to save for the job you're doing. Much appreciated.
6:36 Regarding rich black, an important addendum often missed: rich black is only visible on coated paper (gloss/silk). Do not use rich black on uncoated paper. It simply increases ink saturation without adding any noticeable change visually.

Why a generic cmyk color space? Why not Gracol color space?
No printer marks! Crops if you must, but get rid of all that other crap. Don’t need color bars or slur marks for individual pages, or bullets. We don’t register film any more.
